The Philadelphia Eagles will enter the 2024 season as one of the favorites, along with the 49ers, Lions, and Cowboys, to win the NFC. Last year, even with some cracks in their offense, they started hot with an 8-1 record. However, everything went downhill from there, as they finished the regular season with an 11-6 record. They were steamrolled by the Buccaneers in the wildcard game. To make it worse, Eagles stalwart center Jason Kelce announced his retirement after last season.

The loss of Shane Steichen (Eagles OC from 2021) hurt them in the worst way possible, as he went on to become the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Nick Sirianni and the boys would be eager to get back to their 2022 form when they reach the Super Bowl.

The Eagles fired their OC Brian Johnson, after the team's dismal performance on the offensive side of the ball. They hired Kellen Moore as their new offensive coordinator. The Eagles also swooped superstar running back Saquon Barkley in free agency and inked him to a three-year deal.

It will be interesting to see how the Eagles fare in the NFC with the emergence of the Lions and Packers last season. After the Philadelphia Eagles schedule release, fans are eagerly waiting to see how the new offense led by Jalen Hurts and Kellen Moore will perform.

Week 4 - September 29, 2024 - Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is the revenge game for Philadelphia Eagles who got stomped over by the Baker Mayfield led Bucs in the wildcard round last year. The Bucs would be without their OC from last year who went on to become head coach of the Carolina Panthers. A win against NFC playoff contenders like the Bucs would come in handy late in the season.

Week 9 - November 3, 2024 - Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This is the homecoming game for Doug Pederson, who brought the city of Philadelphia their 1st and only Lombardi trophy back in 2017. Both teams are playoff contenders, with the Eagles having an edge on offense while the Jaguars are the better team on the other side of the ball.

Week 12 - November 24, 2024 - Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams

This NFC heavyweight showdown has playoff implications written all over it. Both these teams lost in the wildcard round last year and will be eager to get back to the playoffs once again this year. Eagles have improved their coaching staff from last year while Rams are betting on their young 2023 class to take the next step forward with a healthy Matthew Stafford.

Week 17 - December 29, 2024 - Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cowboys

There is no sugarcoating this matchup. In the last 10 years Cowboys and Eagles have gone on to win the NFC East title for a combined eight times. Even this year, the other two teams in the division are no match for either of them. The Eagles and Cowboys are the class of the NFC East right now. This game on the Philadelphia Eagles schedule will most probably decide the division winner.
