Welcome to another edition of the daily WWE Rumor Roundup where we try and bring you the biggest wwe news and rumors and other updates from the world of sports-entertainment.

In today's WWE Rumour Roundup, we take a look at the massive stories ahead of WrestleMania this weekend. While we will be starting off with Roman Reigns and Edge, there is a lot more in the next slides with the likes of Becky Lynch, Kairi Sane and more.

Roman Reigns reveals why he is out of WrestleMania

The 'Big Dog' revealed why he won't be present at WrestleMania

Roman Reigns has not been officially taken off WrestleMania but reports have confirmed that he has pulled out of the PPV. While it was all clear that due to the virus outbreak, Reigns has confirmed that it was his decision to not work at the pay-per-view.

The 'Big Dog' took to Instagram to share this message with the fans.

For all my fans, I'm sorry I didn't get to compete this year and put on a show and entertain. Sometimes, things are more important and I had to make a choice for me and my family, but no matter what, you already know the deal. Man, I sure made that town. I made it to Orlando. I had to make a decision for me, but it doesn't take anything away from what I've done and what I'm going to do. I still love this game, I still love pro wrestling, sports entertainment. I still love being in the ring.

Reports suggest Braun Strowman will be the one replacing him in the title match against Goldberg at WrestleMania. There are other reports that suggest it is not confirmed but reliable ones report that the Monster Among Men will be the one replacing Reigns.

Edge names Superstars he wants to face

Edge knows his preferred opponents

Edge is in a heated feud with Randy Orton right now but that will be coming to an end at WrestleMania. The Rated-R Superstar is back on a 3-year contract and will be looking to feud with another top star after this.

Talking to ESPN, Edge has revealed that he wants to face AJ Styles – someone he has never faced despite being in the same industry for 25 years! Apart from the Phenomenal One, Edge has named Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins as the other top starts he wants to be in the ring with.

"AJ Styles and Edge has to happen. In 25 years in the same industry, we've never touched. How is that possible? Guy like Roman Reigns, man, he's special. He's a leader, and he needs other leaders, and that's what I can be. We felt a little bit of that at the Rumble, too. Seth Rollins has to happen. Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Aleister Black for sure, Matt Riddle, WALTER, Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream. Give them all to me, man. I just want to come in and work my tuchus off and have fun."

Edge comments on WrestleMania in an empty arena

The feud between Edge and Randy Orton comes to an end this weekend at WrestleMania. However, unlike Royal Rumble when the WWE Universe in the arena went crazy on hearing Edge's music, this pay-per-view will not have any fans around.

Talking about how it is going to be different and difficult to perform in front of an empty arena, Edge said:

"Is it disappointing that it's not in front of an audience? Of course, it is. I'm not going to lie. But at the same time, I look at the challenge, and I go, 'OK, how do you tell a compelling story?' And in my mind, I picture everyone at home and how they're going to react and how they're going to come out of their chairs and how they're going to get angry and just get lost in it. And if we can do that, then that's all we set out to do."

Edge and Orton are Superstars who the fans love to watch and have always played off the reaction of the fans in the arena.

Becky Lynch reacts to not headlining WrestleMania

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch main evented WrestleMania last year and managed to beat Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the RAW and SmackDown Women's titles. However, this year, she is not in the main event despite the show of shows having 2 main-events because it is split over two nights.

Talking about her not being in the main event this year, Becky gave a classy response:

Am I disappointed? No, I’m not disappointed. Sometimes you’re going to be the main event, sometimes you’re not. I’m somebody that went from the pre-show of WrestleMania to the main event. It’s all about how you react, respond, and keep moving forward.

This is also not the last WrestleMania. I’m not retiring tomorrow, there are so many years ahead of me. I’m always thinking about how I can get to the main event. It has to be the right place for it, but that’s always the goal in my mind.

Becky is still the RAW Women's champion and will be defending her title against Shayna Baszler this weekend.

Massive update on WrestleMania

WrestleMania

For the first time ever, WrestleMania is a 2-night event. The show of shows has always been one long pay-per-view in the company's history but due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the arena being empty, WWE have split it over 2 nights.

According to WWE Network News, the company has listed a one-hour ling kick-off show for both Saturday and Sunday's show. Adding to that, both shows will be around three hours long – starting at 7 pm EST and ending at 10:15 pm EST.

"The WWE Network is currently listing both nights of WrestleMania as having a one-hour Kickoff. These both start at 6 PM EST and last until 7 PM EST. Following the WrestleMania 36 Part 1 Kickoff will be the Wrestlemania 36 Part 1 event itself which is listed to run from 7 PM EST to 10:15 PM EST. Then following Wrestlemania 36 Part 2 Kickoff will be the second night of the Show of Shows, which is listed to stream from 7 PM EST to 10 PM EST."

Several matches have been announced for the show and rumors suggest that the two main events will feature the Men's top singles titles.

Why is Kairi Sane is missing from RAW?

For weeks now, Kairi Sane has not been on RAW while Asuka has appeared on both RAW and SmackDown. There have been no reports on why she is absent from the shows but now, Wrestling Observer Radio claims that she is not in the United States.

The reason why Kairi Sane has not been there, Kairi Sane has been in Japan. She got married, right? Weeks ago? She got married and then, I don't' know if she had to be quarantined or something but she was unavailable for most of these tapings. She was okay for WrestleMania but she wasn't available until like the very end, so that's why this whole promotion for the last couple of weeks has been all Asuka and no Kairi Sane.

WWE have been building up a tag-team match at WrestleMania with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross taking on The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka and Sane. Rumors suggest that it was supposed to be a triple-threat match with Natalya and Beth Phoenix involved as well but those plans were nixed.
