In today's roundup, we take a look at the RAW Superstar who wants more money to sign new contracts, update on Edge's situation and more! We also look at the heel who is currently working as a babyface at Live Events and the dark match from RAW this week.

Vince McMahon gives up on RAW Superstar

Vince McMahon has decided to not push Cedric Alexander anymore as per reports by Dave Meltzer and Paul Davis. They report that there are no plans for the former Cruiserweight champion and that is why he has been involved in Dark Matches and is getting squashed by new Main Roster stars like Angel Garza.

Talking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said:

“They’ve got no plans for Cedric. He’s a talented guy but his number is just not being called.”

Adding to what Meltzer said, Paul Davis of WrestlingNews reported that Vince McMahon has given up on the former 205 Live Champion. The WWE Chairman 'sees nothing' and gave up on him long back as per the report.

“Vince will listen to Paul [Heyman] on some ideas but other times he can be close-minded and he sees nothing in Cedric. Vince gave up on him a long time ago.”

Cedric still remains as one of the most athletic stars on the roster and it might just be about not being in the right place at the right time for him. WWE Universe still sees a lot in him and hopefully, it is not long before he gets a push again.

The Revival's demands to sign new contracts

The Revival are at the very end of their WWE contracts, and reports suggest that they are nowhere close to signing new deals. The former tag-team champions have also reportedly asked for their release from the company which has not been granted just yet.

While Dash Wilder has deleted his twitter account, Scott Dawson has revealed that the tag-team are only looking for creative control in the company. That is a significant hint on why they could possibly be leaving WWE soon.

Why Sami Zayn has not been involved in matches

Sami Zayn has a new role on the main roster now and he is managing Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. The WWE Universe has been abuzz about the reason for his lack of in-ring performances and now, Dave Meltzer has some backstage news.

The Wrestling Observer journalist reports that the former Intercontinental Champion is not injured and that it is just a creative decision. Speculation about his shoulder injury problems have been put to bed with that.

WWE have already medically cleared him as per the report and that means he could return as soon as the Creative have an interesting spot ready for him. Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue has already reported that there have been talks of him moving back to NXT as well.

Cesaro, on the other hand, is enjoying the opportunity of working with Sami. Talking about how they teamed up, he said: “Sami and Shin were doing a thing together. A thing where Sami was just going crazy during Shin’s entrances [laughs] everyone’s favorite GIF every week. And then Sami was like ‘Yeah, I’m trying to get you into the group’ and I’m like ‘Yeah, OK!’ I’ve moved to SmackDown again and there was no plan so I was like ‘Yeah, I’d love to, let’s do something!’”

Randy Orton vs R-Truth in dark match

Randy Orton has taken down 2 WWE legends with chair shots and is not involved in matches on RAW. He was, however, involved in a dark match on Monday and he took on R-Truth.

The former WWE Champion seems to be building himself as a heel now, and things might be going that way for the next few weeks. Randy took out Truth with an RKO to pick up the win on Monday, and that was just another step in the right direction for the Viper.

Angel Garza is a heel and a babyface

Angel Garza is working as a heel on Monday Night RAW, but on the NXT Live Events, he has been working as a babyface as per Dave Meltzer.

I don't know if you know this or not, by the way, he was wrestling in all the NXT shows this weekend, Angel Garza, and he was a complete babyface every night.

Garza is getting a push on RAW with Andrade suspended, and it will be interesting to see if they team up or are involved in a feud on the United States champion's return.

Update on Edge's situation

Edge returned to the WWE ring after 9 years, but that stay was shortlived thanks to Randy Orton. The Hall of Famer made a stunning return at the Royal Rumble, but on Monday Night RAW the very next night, he was taken out by the Viper.

WWE have now provided an update on Edge's situation, and they report that Beth Phoenix was reluctant to say anything. A family spokesperson has revealed that Edge is recovering at home and that there will be no further comments at this time.

WWE reached out to Beth Phoenix last Wednesday at Full Sail and she offered no update at that time. When reached, a family spokesperson said, "Adam continues to recover at home but for now the family respectfully declines any further comment. They ask for everyone to please respect their privacy at this time. On behalf of the WWE Universe, WWE.com sends their best wishes to Edge.

Edge is touted to face Rany Orton at WrestleMania this year – a match the WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for.

Becky Lynch has repeatedly claimed that she has not signed a new deal and has now revealed her demands. Talking to TV Insider, the RAW Women's champion has claimed that she deserves more money than Vince McMahon right now!

She believes that she is the one drawing the crowd in the arenas now and wants to take advantage of than while negotiating a new deal.

“I should be making more in that whole company, everybody — Vince McMahon included. I want to change the game. I want to prove that it doesn’t matter your gender, your race, your background, if you are doing the job and keeping people invested, if you are keeping people interested, then you deserve to be paid at a level higher than anybody else. Or as high as anybody else. As high as the best of them. I look around the arenas and the majority of the people are in my shirts. The majority of people hold signs for me, so pay me as such and that will be the way it will be."
