RAW after Survivor Series Preview: Former champion to get a title push before contract expires in 2022, Big twist in Vince McMahon's "Egg" storyline?

Seth Rollins re-enters world title contention on RAW

It's the RAW after Survivor Series, and there is going to be a positive feeling all around in the red brand. RAW swept SmackDown 5-2, "winning" Survivor Series yet again.

There wasn't much emphasis on brand supremacy this year, nor was there a big deal made of RAW dominating Survivor Series the way they did. The build-up to the pay-per-view wasn't particularly great either, but it's a fresh start on RAW tonight.

The next pay-per-view will be over a month from now, titled "Day 1" on January 1st. While WWE may only start the actual build a few weeks before that in December, a lot could happen on TV itself. Here's what you need to look forward to on RAW tonight:

#5. Seth Rollins resumes his pursuit of the WWE title on RAW

Seth Rollins and Big E will enter RAW with contrasting feelings. While Seth Rollins had a great night at Survivor Series leading Team RAW to victory as the sole survivor, Big E lost to Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event.

Big E joined the list of three other elite superstars who lost at Survivor Series to the Universal Champion. That list includes AJ Styles (2017), Daniel Bryan (2018), and Drew McIntyre (2020). What he also had in common was that he was a part of yet another epic World Champion vs World Champion clash at Survivor Series.

There's nothing wrong with losing to Roman Reigns -- a man who hasn't been pinned since December 2019. Big E is still the face of Monday Night RAW, but his WWE title reign is under threat -- not only with Seth Rollins looming but Kevin Owens as well.

Reports suggest that Owens' WWE contract expires at the end of January 2022. It will be interesting to see what he does after that, but WWE seems to be giving him a big title push with his recent heel turn.

Despite losing the ladder match to become the #1 contender to the WWE Championship, the 37-year-old has kept himself relevant and could be a part of the WWE title match between Big E and Seth Rollins. Whether that happens on RAW in November, December, or "Day 1" on January 1st is yet to be seen.

But this could be WWE's way of convincing Kevin Owens to re-sign with them. The feud has been good so far, and Owens has been the highlight despite not being the official #1 contender.

#4. Vince McMahon returns to RAW to investigate the Golden Egg robbery

Vince McMahon will return to RAW tonight for a rather odd reason. For the uninitiated, The Rock's latest movie on Netflix, "Red Notice," was based on Cleopatra's "Third Egg". The movie was promoted at Survivor Series, and this year's edition of the pay-per-view was the 25th anniversary of The Rock's debut.

The Rock didn't show up, but the third egg did. Vince McMahon called Roman Reigns into his office to tell him that the egg was worth a $100 million -- to which Reigns said that would be the value of his next contract.

When talking to authority figures Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, McMahon realized that the egg was stolen. While Deville made a call to the police, Pearce admitted that he wouldn't put it past a superstar to pull off the theft.

McMahon will be on RAW, and the culprit is expected to be the likes of R-Truth, Drew Gulak, Akira Tozawa, or another comedy character. But what if there's a big twist and it's Sonya Deville who gets discovered as a way of removing her from an authority position.

#3. Who's next for the RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro?

RK-Bro had a phenomenal showing at Survivor Series as the RAW Tag Team Champions defeated The Usos. The result was a bit of a surprise, as The Usos have over a decade of experience together in the ring, while Riddle and Randy Orton are still a relatively new team in comparison.

Their chemistry has proven to be strong, and this year it was the RAW Tag Team Champions who walked out victorious in what turned out to be an incredible finish. They're now back on the red brand a night later and will be seeking their next title challengers.

Randy Orton broke the WWE pay-per-view appearance record at Survivor Series 2021 and his RKO perfectly summed it all up. There are a few challengers on RAW, starting with the likes of The Dirty Dawgs, AJ Styles & Omos, The Street Profits, etc.

The Dirty Dawgs were recently unsuccessful in their attempts to capture the tag team titles, and AJ Styles and Omos were the last to defeat them on RAW, potentially keeping them in the tag team title picture.

The Street Profits will be looming around as well, focused on the titles and not pizzas.

#2. Damian Priest looks ahead on RAW following defeat at Survivor Series 2021

Damian Priest represented RAW against SmackDown's Shinsuke Nakamura. The match was surprisingly put on the Kickoff Show, and The Archer of Infamy couldn't stand Rick Boogs playing the guitar while he was competing in the ring.

He confronted Boogs because of the disrespect and broke the guitar in half before hitting him with it. With Nakamura right behind, Priest hit him with the guitar as well, getting himself disqualified and being one of only two RAW wrestlers to lose at Survivor Series.

It was a bit surprising given how Damian Priest has been handled on RAW all year. He has mostly been well utilized and the timing of his US title win was perfect as well. Priest teased a heel turn at Survivor Series, and his character on RAW has been getting darker and more intense by the day.

However, his next challenger has already made his presence known beforehand. It's none other than Apollo Crews, the former United States and Intercontinental Champion. The two are expected to meet on RAW, even if it isn't in an in-ring segment.

#1. Becky Lynch's next RAW Women's title feud begins

RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch admitted to feeling conflicted following her victory over Charlotte Flair at Survivor Series. They had yet another instant classic, with Lynch getting a sketchy and controversial victory over her rival.

The Irish star is now back to championship duties on RAW. Liv Morgan defeated her four Survivor Series teammates well before the pay-per-view to earn her spot as the next challenger for the RAW Women's Championship.

The feud will be interesting, but the promo that the two women had previously on RAW indicated a huge gap in their skill levels. It isn't that Morgan doesn't have the potential, but Lynch is operating on a whole different level.

We're curious to see how Liv Morgan is handled in her feud with Becky Lynch on RAW. There's little to no chance that she will dethrone Big Time Becks, but it's Morgan's first proper championship feud on the WWE main roster. It's a sink or swim moment for her on RAW.
