What’s the story?
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, nearly all of the seats that were set up for WrestleMania 33 in Orlando have sold out. As of March 22nd, 46 tickets were unsold out of the 55,000 seats that were set up.
In case you didn’t know...
WrestleMania XXIV was the last time the Show of Shows went to Orlando. The announced attendance was 74,635; however, the stadium has been massively renovated since and has been rebranded the Camping World Stadium.
The heart of the matter
Meltzer also indicated that If the remaining tickets are claimed, there is a good chance they could add another 5,000 seats. They did the exact same thing at WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, California.

WWE also likes to announce inflated attendance numbers for "entertainment" purposes. According to scripted interviews on television this week, the company will announce an attendance of more than 70,000 people.
What’s next?
The last episodes of Raw and SmackDown LIVE before WrestleMania will air this coming week. All heads will be on deck, and it is safe to expect that WWE will do everything they can to drum up interest for their biggest event of the year.
Author’s Take
This year’s Road To WrestleMania has been lacklustre at best, but this goes to show the power of the biggest pay per view of the year. Regardless of the product put before them, people will flock from all over the globe to witness WrestleMania.
It would have been very interesting to see how tickets would have sold if it was in a bigger venue like the AT & T Stadium. While WWE likes to artificially inflate their attendance numbers, there are some good detectives that can uncover the true number of tickets sold.
