WWE News: Daniel Bryan plans to wrestle once again

Bryan is widely regarded as one of the most popular superstars of all time

What’s the story?

In an interview with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes, Daniel Bryan revealed his future plans as a wrestler. This news might please his long-time supporters as the former WWE Champion is nothing but positive about his career.

In case you didn't know...

Daniel Bryan has been called one of the “founding fathers” of the widely successful American promotion, Ring of Honour, and is also respected throughout the wrestling world outside of WWE.

Unfortunately, Bryan had to retire from in-ring competition due to an injury last year. His retirement shook the whole wrestling world and had thousands of his fans in tears. However, Bryan is currently the on-screen General Manager for SmackDown LIVE and seems pretty happy with this role.

The heart of the matter

During the WrestleMania weekend a month ago, Bryan talked to Kenny McIntosh of Inside the Ropes. He was asked if his efforts to get back to wrestling were still going on and if he would end up wrestling somewhere else once his contract with the WWE expires in 2018.

To this, Bryan replied that he is feeling fine but understands the company’s reasons with regard to his injuries. He said that the situation is complicated and asked his fans to wait and see what happens after a year and a half.

Bryan also said that his wrestling career is ultimately based on if he and his family think he is doing well health-wise and should continue.
