The Holiday Tour of the WWE kicked off with the customary Boxing Day house show from the iconic Madison Square Garden.

The stacked card featured a host of matches that were worthy of headlining any major WWE PPV. The main event of the evening saw Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins lock horns in a No Holds Barred match.

A massive Triple Threat Steel Cage match for the RAW Women's Championship between Becky Lynch, Asuka and Charlotte Flair ended up being one of the best matches of the night. No surprises there.

The event also had a few title changes as Rey Mysterio lost the US Championship while the 24/7 title too changed hands a few times.

Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles and Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy were the other two standout singles bouts of the evening., The card featured a total of nine matches, and the results and highlights of the same are given below:

#1 The Viking Raiders vs. The Street Profits vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows (RAW Tag Team Championship Match)

The opener of the night had three of the best tag teams from RAW battle it out for the RAW Tag Team titles.

Considering the talent involved, this was an ideal opener that set the mood for the rest of the matches to follow later on in the night.

Ivar and Erik retained the titles after a solid tag team contest. The match had a good blend of comedy, engaging in-ring action and a fast-paced finishing sequence in which Karl Anderson took the pin after being hit with the Fallout.

Result: The Viking Raiders def. The Street Profits and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson to retain the titles

#2 Drew McIntyre vs. No Way Jose

As expected, this one didn't last long. McIntyre made quick work of No Way Jose with the Claymore Kick in under four minutes.

It should be noted that McIntyre was quite over with the fans at the MSG and got 'babyface-like' reactions.

A teaser of an impending face turn?

Result: Drew McIntyre def. No Way Jose

#3 Rey Mysterio (C) vs. Andrade (United States Championship Match)

We're guessing you already know what happened in this one. In any case, we'll walk you through what happened.

Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio to become the new United States Champion in a well-paced matchup.

Mysterio caught Andrade with the 619 and had him where he wanted for the frog splash from the top turnbuckle. However, Andrade stopped Mysterio in his tracks by getting his feet up in time.

He then laid out Mysterio with the Hammerlock DDT and picked up the win.

A title change was expected to happen at the MSG show and the US title seemed like the most probable candidate as AJ Styles won the same title a few years ago at the MSG show.

This was, nonetheless, a great moment that added to the special vibe of the show.

Result: Andrade def. Rey Mysterio to become the new US Champion

#4 Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles

The two veterans rarely disappoint when paired up against one and another.

The MSG match was no exception.

The match was rich with in-ring psychology, as expected, with Styles working on Orton's knee.

It followed a similar pattern from their main event match from RAW. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows tried to interrupt the proceedings, however, The Viking Raiders came out to even out the playing field.

Orton then hit Styles with a springboard RKO for the win.

Result: Randy Orton def. AJ Styles

#5 Becky Lynch (C) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair (Steel Cage Match for the RAW Women's Championship)

There was a lot of speculation before the event about Becky Lynch possibly dropping the Championship at the MSG show.

Thankfully, that didn't happen as The Man retained the title after an epic match. The incredibly talented women put on a show for the fans in attendance with Charlotte Flair taking the fall in the end, which protected Lynch and Asuka, who are feuding for the title on TV.

This was the final match before the intermission.

Result: Becky Lynch def. Asuka and Charlotte Flair to retain the RAW Women's title

#6 R-Truth (C) vs. The Singh Brothers (24/7 Championship Match)

The first match after the break was booked to provide comic relief and when you have the 24/7 European TV Champion R-Truth, the laughs are bound to come.

The match saw the Singh Brothers, each of them, win the 24/7 title respectively, only to lose it back to R-Truth within seconds. Typical 24/7 booking! Samir first pinned Truth to win the title. Sunil rolled up Samir to win the title himself before Truth got the title back with another quick pinfall.

We've lost count of the number of R-Truth's reigns, so let's not even get into that.

Truth even dedicated the match to John Cena!

#7 Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy

As you may have imagined, this was an awesome match. It was a hard-hitting and smartly worked contest which highlighted the talents of both the Superstars.

Black and Murphy have great chemistry and they managed to put on a solid match within the time they were provided. Black won with the Black Mass Kick.

Result: Aleister Black def. Buddy Murphy

#8 Bobby Lashley (w/ Lana) vs. Ricochet

The originally advertised match was a No Holds Barred showdown between Bobby Lashley and Rusev, however, Lana announced that there was a restraining order on Rusev in NYC.

Ricochet, instead, replaced The Bulgarian Brute and picked up a big upset win over Lashley.

Lana was sent to the locker room during the match and Ricochet took advantage of the situation by picking up the win with the schoolboy pin.

Lashley unleashed a beatdown on WWE's Resident Superhero after the match.

Result: Ricochet def. Bobby Lashley

#9 Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (No Holds Barred)

The main event of the evening was a match that we've seen many times before. It even played out exactly the way we had predicted.

Rollins cut a promo before the match in which he ranted about KO and the fans.

The match began and there were chairs and tables brought into the equation. The Beastslayer won with some help from The Authors of Pain.

Samoa Joe came out with a kendo stick and helped Owens before ending the night by putting Rollins through a table.

Result: Seth Rollins def. Kevin Owens

That was a great MSG show, which makes us wonder. Why didn't WWE air it on the Network?
