WWE has sent out a message on its website and official Facebook page promising a ground-breaking announcement on Wednesday, 8th January 2014. The announcement is widely expected to be the inauguration of the WWE Network.
WWE on several occasions during the Old School Raw episode promoted what WWE.com is calling the “blockbuster announcement that will change WWE forever.”
The logo accompanying the TV teaser resembled the WWE Network logo, which suggests that fans may finally get access to the incarnation of the 24-hour channel WWE has been trying to launch for two years.
Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman and CEO, Triple H, WWE COO, 11-time WWE Champion John Cena and WWE Hall of Famers “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels will all be present for this announcement.
