Eva Marie makes progress, Lana takes up writing and Tough Enough competitor signs NXT deal

– Total Divas star Eva Marie has been widely criticized by fans for her lack of in-ring talent. Eva Marie who has been consistently botching moves in the ring may have found her silver lining.

She recently had a match with the NXT Women’s champion Bayley who has been one of the best wrestlers in the company as of late. The fans who earlier chanted “You can’t wrestle” had a positive thing to say about Eva. During her match, the fans started chanting “Eva’s learning” which will come as a huge boost to Marie as the fans may finally be starting to accept her.

Eva Marie was trained by Brian Kendrick after her initial run in the WWE. The match against Bayley was a real compliment to Eva as it was not the usual case of her being carried in the match as she stood out on her own which is a very big thing. One would only hope that she keeps on improving in the future and reaches the pedestal which WWE wants her to.

– Tough Enough was a reality show on the WWE Network to unearth hidden talent and make them into future WWE stars. Patrick Clark, who was a contestant on the show was eliminated after the first few weeks itself. Clark, who already had wrestling experience was praised for his In-ring ability but was kicked out for being arrogant.

It is now understood that Clark has signed a deal with NXT after giving trials at the WWE Performance Center. Former champion Lita who has a permanent backstage role now looks to have worked out a deal for Clark as it is believed that she is a big admirer of his skills.

– Lana who has been out injured has not appeared on raw in a long time. She posted on Instagram about undertaking a new hobby. She stated in the post that she has taken to writing novels and comics. She posted the following post on Instagram:

She also stated that she has a movie script and a TV pilot in the pipeline after she finishes with her novel. Lana looks to be using her spare time to great effect.
