Why is Daniel Bryan growing his beard?

Oakland A’s outfielder Josh Reddick has been proud of sporting his unshaven beard from this November. Well, that scraggly beard of his is going to grow for the entirety of 2013. Wondering as to why he is approaching such a fanatical status?

Actually, he has accepted a challenge from WWE wrestler Daniel Bryan in a “beard-off” challenge, which simply means both men will continue growing their beards for the whole of 2013, and then, at the end of the year, to vote on which man’s facial hair is the most spectacular. The beard-off between Bryan and Reddick is slated to go through the end of the year, with the loser being forced to shave their facial hair.
