WWE star may face major repercussions; breaks silence after attacking Bayley on SmackDown

Former WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax laid out Bayley and Naomi this week on SmackDown.

Jax was a second-round pick for the blue brand during the week's WWE Draft. The Irresistible Force sent out a message immediately after joining the blue brand as she attacked the WWE Women's Champ. Bayley was at ringside during the singles match between Naomi and Tiffany Stratton. Jax also laid out Naomi, resulting in a no-contest.

WWE correspondent Byron Saxton caught up with the star after SmackDown this week. Jax showed no sense of remorse for her actions. She intimidated Saxton and made it clear that she would be happy to deal with any repercussions that could come her way after the attack this week.

Bayley will defend the WWE Women's Championship in a Triple Threat match

After the senseless attack on SmackDown and all the chaos resulting from it, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis decided to have the WWE Women's Champion defend her title in a Triple Threat match at Backlash.

This match would feature Naomi and Tiffany Stratton challenging The Role Model for the WWE Women's Championship. Stratton has been pretty impressive on the blue brand since her main roster debut. She was a standout during the Women's Elimination Chamber match in Perth, Australia.

This Friday on SmackDown, Stratton placed Naomi and Bayley side-by-side and hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on the two stars for the second week in a row.

It will be interesting to see if The Role Model can manage to hold on to her title against Naomi and Stratton as WWE rolls into Backlash France next weekend.
