Bill Apter recently spoke about Becky Lynch losing her NXT Women's Championship to Lyra Valkyria, and wondered what lay ahead for her.
The Man's run with the gold lasted just 42 days, as she dropped the gold to her fellow Irish countrymate at this week's NXT: Halloween Havoc. While Lynch lost nothing in defeat, Valkyria gained immensely, as she's not only the new NXT Women's Champion, but has a win over a performer of Becky Lynch's stature.
On Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Bill Apter stated that he was looking forward to seeing what The Man does next, now that she's no longer a champion.

"I wanna know what is Becky Lynch gonna do now. What is she gonna do? She lost her NXT Women's Title to young Lyra Valkyria tonight," said Bill Apter. [4:09 - 4:20]
Furthermore, Apter also mentioned how he didn't expect Lynch to drop her title on an episode of NXT, but on a bigger stage like RAW or SmacKDown down the line.
"It was a really good match, the fans were chanting, 'This is awesome.' But Becky lost. I thought if she was gonna lose the NXT Women's Championship, it might have been on one of the major two brands, but that was nice of her to lose the title to this lovely young lady," added Bill Apter. Becky Lynch broke silence after loss on WWE NXT
Not among the ones to be resentful or jealous, Becky Lynch sent a heartwarming message following her NXT Women's Championship loss to Lyra Valkyria. The 36-year-old performer wrote about the white and gold's future being bright.
While it remains to be seen if she stays in NXT for much longer, it looks like The Man would move on to potentially bigger things. During her short, yet eventful title reign, Lynch competed against a bunch of promising talents, most recently Indie Hartwell. However, with Survivor Series 2023 and Royal Rumble inching closer, Lynch might be looking to get back in the main event picture on RAW.
