John Cena sends a subtle 3-word message to LA Knight before confronting Roman Reigns on SmackDown

John Cena opened the show on SmackDown this week, only to get confronted by Roman Reigns, who came along with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Cena introduced LA Knight as a potential challenger and sent a subtle three-word message to him before handing the mic.

Fans were shocked when John Cena said he hadn't earned a shot against Roman Reigns but knew somebody who did - setting up the entry of LA Knight.

While it indeed seems a bit early for the megastar to be going up against Roman Reigns, John Cena didn't seem to think so. Before he handed the mic to his Fastlane tag team partner, he simply said, "It's your time."

The crowd was going wild over the idea of LA Knight vs Roman Reigns. And while the segment ended in chaos thanks to Jimmy Uso's interference, LA Knight still stood tall - setting up a match against Solo Sikoa for the main event.

It's going to be interesting to see how this story plays out. It was rumored earlier that Cena vs. Reigns III was in the works for a rematch at Crown Jewel 2023. That could still happen, depending on how things play out.
