Alicia Fox spent 17 years with WWE. The multi-time champion held various roles with the company and was known to tweak her looks from time to time. She recently reunited with another veteran star and looks a lot different from the last time we saw her on TV. The former Total Diva also returned to the ring this weekend.

The Foxy Floridian found herself wrapped up in a February 2019 controversy, which led to the release of Arn Anderson. After a hiatus, she was billed as a WWE Legend, transferred to a Legends contract, and moved to the Alumni roster before going on another hiatus in late 2019. She made just a few more appearances after that, including as a Royal Rumble surprise in 2021 and 2022. After stating that she was still with WWE in February 2023, she confirmed her departure on May 1 of that year.

Fox returned to the indies in mid-2023, using the name Vix Crow. Earlier this year, the former Divas Champion began training and helping out at the Hatchet Pro Wrestling school in Florida owned by Sam Shaw, fka Dexter Lumis. Several notable stars often drop by the school to speak to students, including Nick Aldis and Byron Saxton.

Fox took to X to post video and photos from the session before heading to F1RST Wrestling in Minnesota for her first U.S. indie match, as detailed below from her opponent.

"#aboutlastnight [red heart emoji] my heart is just full to be invited to hang around THESE BROTHERS AND SISTERs [red heart emoji] @hatchetprowrestling is giving me a new #spirit to #work for [red heart emoji] [women wrestling emoji] the gift that keeps on giving!! Packing bags for a #new in-ring #experience CYA soon #minnesota @f1rstwrestling," Alicia Fox wrote with the photos and video below.

Fox held the OVW Women's Championship for one day in 2006, but the reign is not recognized by the promotion. She also held the WWE Divas Championship once for 55 days in 2010 and briefly held the 24/7 Championship at the 2021 Royal Rumble.

Alicia Fox wrestles first U.S. singles match since WWE

Alicia Fox's 17-year tenure with WWE ended at the end of April 2023. After denying retirement rumors the following month, Fox announced that she planned to continue her wrestling career.

Using the new ring name of Vix Crow, Fox made her first non-WWE wrestling appearance in June 2023 for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling promotion, along with NXT Champion Trick Williams. She confronted Promise Braxton but did not wrestle. The former Total Divas star then made a few more indie appearances, including as a referee. Her first singles match since 2019 came on April 12 of this year, as she defeated Mickie James at the Starrcast HER event in Australia.

The Foxy One had her second post-WWE match at F1RST Wrestling in Welch, Minnesota on Saturday night. She defeated Hyan, who took to X to share a photo of the two.

"so honored to have been @VIX_CROW first US indie match [grey heart emoji] thank you @f1rstwrestling [hands up emoji] I got to wrestle the best of the best last night and also made a new friend [face with hearts emoji] love you Vix!!!" Hyan wrote with the photo below.

Fans in attendance at the F1RST Wrestling show noted how good the former Alicia Fox looked. The match was described as one of the best of the night, and it ended with a show of respect between the two.
