Will Maven make a surprise appearance at the 2024 WWE Men's Royal Rumble match?

Former Hardcore Champion Maven addressed whether he would return to WWE to participate in the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble match.

The 47-year-old joined the Stamford-based company in 2001 after winning the inaugural season of Tough Enough alongside Nidia Guenard. He spent nearly four years as an active competitor in WWE, during which he held the Hardcore Championship. However, Maven was released from his contract in 2005.

Maven participated in two Royal Rumble matches during his stint in the Stamford-based company. His last appearance in the historic match came in 2003. He entered at number 26 and was eliminated by The Undertaker after eight minutes and 19 seconds.

During an appearance on Cafe de Rene, Maven was asked if he would return to participate in this year's Men's Royal Rumble match. The former Hardcore Champion stated that he had not received a call from the company.

"If it's happening, I haven't got the call yet. No, James, if, and I know people want me like, 'It'd be great. It'd be a great spot.' I haven't got the call yet. I haven't heard anything. So...." [0:36 - 0:53]

How much money did Maven make during his WWE run?

Several months ago, former Hardcore Champion Maven started a YouTube channel revealing many secrets about the wrestling business and his run in the Stamford-based company.

In one of his videos, the 47-year-old revealed how much money he made during his four-year stint as a WWE Superstar.

"So one of the questions I get asked all the time, 'Maven how much did you make in your time in the WWE?' Well, it might be more, it might be less than you figured. But it's about there. We have it about right around 800,000. Obviously you can see I saved every penny, being able to see all 50 states, being able to go to 11 different countries, I would say I made out like a bandit," he said.

The Royal Rumble match is always known for its epic returns and surprises, and fans will be eagerly waiting to find out what Triple H has in store this year.

"A better actor than he is a wrestler" - Maven took a shot at a major WWE Superstar. Check out the details here.
