WWE and AEW are set to go head-to-head again

After this week's Tuesday Night War between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite, the Stamford-based company and Jacksonville-based promotion are set to go head-to-head again this year.

This week, the AEW Dynamite was moved to Tuesday night due to the Major League Baseball playoffs on TBS on Wednesday. The show went head-to-head against the NXT. It led to a battle of ratings between the two companies. Both the wrestling promotions stacked their respective lineups to gain the upper hand. It caused an unprecedented hysteria among wrestling fans.

WWE and AEW are set to go head-to-head once more on November 17th. As noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the battle will be between SmackDown and Collision on a Friday night.

Collision won't air in its usual timeslot as AEW Full Gear is moved to Saturday to avoid competition with the NFL. So, All Elite's Saturday night show will air parallel to SmackDown.

AEW will be going against the WWE's premium show this time around. SmackDown will be on the road to Survivor Series and will likely feature all the big names. With a major premium live event the very next day, it will be intriguing to see the matchcard of Collision.

WWE NXT beat AEW Dynamite in ratings war this Tuesday

Both companies went all guns blazing for the face-off this Tuesday. AEW named their show as Dynamite Title Tuesday. The wrestling promotion went in with a stacked match-card. The company advertised multiple high stakes for the episode, featuring Adam 'Edge' Copeland, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Adam Page, and Saraya.

On the other hand, WWE did its share of advertisements for NXT. The Stamford-based company announced main-event superstars like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and LA Knight. There were rumors regarding a returning Undertaker as well. The Phenom made his way to the middle during the main event. He chokeslammed Bron Breakker to send fans into a frenzy.

In a star-studded battle, NXT defeated Dynamite by a fair margin. Have a look at the exact number of viewers and ratings in the tweet below:
