What's the story?

After footage showing an altercation between Alicia Fox and Ronda Rousey's husband, UFC fighter Travis Browne, made the rounds on the internet, many were questioning whether it would affect her status for the Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

However, the latest report suggests Fox was kept out of the match because she wasn't medically cleared.

Fox was poised to compete in the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match and to participate in the Mixed Match Challenge but was pulled from both shows after breaking her tailbone.

Until her recent controversy with Browne, the Raw Women's wrestler has been mostly active via Instagram with no information regarding her status for the match.

The heart of the matter

Fox and Browne's altercation was published by the UK Sun and begins with Fox calling Browne rude before being informed that she was on camera.

After realizing she was being filmed, Fox swatted the camera away and the video ends at that point.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Fox was pulled from the Women's Battle Royal as a result of her altercation with Browne.

The stills for the Women's Battle Royal didn't show any advertisements with Fox and the former Diva's Champion was absent from the Women's Battle Royal, but the reason might have more to do with her medical status.

A report originally published by Pro Wrestling Sheet said that WWE didn't include Fox in the match because she still hasn't fully recovered from her tailbone injury.

What's next?

A fractured tailbone takes 8 to 12 weeks to heal according to medline plus, but a full break might require surgery.

If Fox doesn't return to television in the next few weeks, it could suggest that her injury requires further recovery or that WWE is purposefully keeping her off TV.

WWE has suspended wrestlers for trivial reasons before, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they kept her away from the ring because of the scuffle.

Hopefully, it is just a medical issue and Fox returns to WWE programming as soon as possible.
