This week on Raw, Bayley finally reached boiling point with her former friend Sasha Banks and attacked her after their loss to The Riott Squad which has now left many fans wondering if Bayley has turned heel and if this will be a lengthy feud for both women moving forward.

Of course, Bayley and Sasha's friendship is not the first one to come to a brutal end since there are many other friends in the history of WWE that have come to blows when they realized that they are no longer on the same page.

Hell hath no fury like a wrestler scorned and here are just a few examples of how scorned some wrestlers can be with superstars that were once their friends.

#5. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was there for Kevin Owens when he realized that he didn't actually have any friends in the company and the duo was inseparable for months, having each other's backs when the odds were stacked against them.

This all came to an end last year as part of "The Festival of Friendship" in one of the most heartbreaking turns in recent history. When Owens handed Jericho the "List of Owens" and Jericho's name was the only one on the list, it was obvious that the two friends had hit a roadblock.

Following a brutal beatdown from Owens, Jericho was able to gain a semblance of revenge when he cost Owens his Universal Championship a few weeks later in a match against Goldberg and Owens then took Jericho's United States Championship at WrestleMania. It has been a back and forth feud between the two men over the past year even though Jericho has been mostly MIA and it's easy to believe that these two men will never be able to patch up their differences following such a brutal betrayal.

#4. Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff part 2

Matt and Jeff Hardy started wrestling together when they were children after they built their own ring around a trampoline and started their own promotion where their friends and family could come and watch them show off their skill.

Decades later the brothers found themselves on opposite sides of the ring in WWE, after winning Tag Team Championships together and showing that there was no bond greater than theirs, Matt decided that enough was enough.

The Royal Rumble back in 2009 was the venue for the heartbreak when Matt invaded his brother's match against Edge and looked as though he was about to help him win the match before he attacked him with a steel chair.

This later led to the brothers colliding at WrestleMania where the build-up surrounded a fire at Jeff's house where his dog was killed, something that Matt took the blame for in storyline just to add to the heartbreak.

#3. Seth Rollins turns on The Shield

Triple H gave Seth Rollins an offer he couldn't refuse

In this generation, it's impossible to make a list surrounding betrayal without including one of the biggest breakups in wrestling history. June 2nd, 2014 is a day that all wrestling fans will remember since this was the day that Rollins decided that he didn't want to push for justice with The Shield anymore, deciding instead that he would look after himself and join The Authority.

It was a decision that was fruitful for Rollins w ho went on to become Mr. Money in the Bank and World Champion, whilst also being part of an incredible feud with his former friend Dean Ambrose.

Over the past four years, all three members of The Shield have gone on to become the biggest stars in WWE, which means that their split was the turning point for all of their careers, something that Triple H was once again the mastermind behind.

The Shield had only recently defeated Evolution at both Extreme Rules and Payback and were in a position where they were unbeatable, but when Batista decided to walk out of the ring and onto a movie set, Triple H needed to replace him and Rollins couldn't say no to the offer.

The chair shots to Ambrose still echo in the minds of the WWE Universe more than four years later and even though The Shield has since reformed, it could be argued that Rollins and Ambrose work much better as enemies than friends.

#2. Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty

Shawn Michaels' bond with Marty Jannetty was irreparably broken

Whenever Marty Jannetty's name is mentioned in a wrestling context there will always be the image of him being thrown through that barbershop window by his longtime friend Shawn Michaels in one of the most iconic breakups in wrestling history.

For years, Michaels and Jannetty had shown that they had an unbreakable bond and in the ring, they complimented each other like no other team at that time, but as the years passed it was obvious that Michaels was having a change of heart. Like many superstars, Michaels grew frustrated with their losses and blamed Jannetty for it.

As the cracks in their friendship began to show, the duo was part of a segment with Brutus Beefcake where it was hoped that they were back on the same page when in fact Michaels had no intention of reconciling with his long-time friend and decided to send a direct message to Jannetty by superkicking him before throwing him through a pane of glass.

Even though there were reports that this was going to happen ahead of last year's NXT Takeover: Chicago, many fans were still let heartbroken when DIY failed to win back their Tag Team Championships from The Authors of Pain and Tommaso Ciampa then decided it was Johnny Gargano's fault.

The box was already on the screen, many thought that the pay-per-view had come to an end before Ciampa threw Gargano into the screen and then began a beatdown that has been replayed in Gargano's head hundreds of times over the past year.

Ciampa was forced to miss almost a year of action following this turn when it was revealed that he had suffered a knee injury that required surgery, but since his return in Philadelphia back in January, these two former friends have ensured that there are no pieces of their friendship that are left to fit back together with some of the most brutal matches in NXT history.
