5 female WWE superstars who can be the next Roman Reigns

Ente

What do we mean by the "next Roman Reigns"? After all, there was a period of time in which Dana Brooke was rumoured to be pushed as the "female" Roman Reigns. However, WWE would soon realise that Dana Brooke wasn't really ready at all to be in that top spot.

Better sense prevailed and WWE decided to stick with pushing three of the four horsewomen and Alexa Bliss. It was only in 2018 that Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax really started getting pushed, but the women's division is constantly changing.

It's no more about "making history" and "first-time" accomplishments and whatnot. It's about the women being pushed to a level higher than they had ever been before, and it's been continuing organically.

For the first time ever in WrestleMania season, the women are indeed the prime focus of both RAW and SmackDown Live. Why else would Becky Lynch constantly be appearing on both brands?

Either way, the women are set to represent WWE on a higher level than ever before, and this may involve making a female star the face of the company as well. We look at five female candidates who can take the "Roman Reigns spot" on top of the card.

#5 Lacey Evans

Suddenly, Lacey Evans hits the scene to deride her fellow Superstars.

This may come as a surprise to many, but Lacey Evans is going to get pushed to the moon. It's being rumoured that Vince McMahon wants Lacey Evans to be one of the top three women in the company going forward after Ronda Rousey leaves.

It makes sense in a way, because Evans is a former United States Marine, having served for five years. Evans is also a mother and her story is quite a fascinating one. If done right, WWE can make a major star out of her in the future. Whether she's ready for the big spot or not, time will tell.

#4 Nia Jax

We understand that this is a very bizarre and unlikely pick, but crazier things have happened. Nia Jax may not be the most proficient in the ring, and she may be guilty of a botch or two more often than not.

However, she possesses a unique look and also has the Samoan heritage, so we can't exactly say that she doesn't have the credentials. However, all this is assuming that Nia Jax tremendously improves over the next couple of years. For this, she'll probably need to go back to the Performance Center and NXT and train harder - both in the ring and in her promos.

Her promos are definitely the weakest aspect of her game, but if she manages to get things right, she can be a top star for years to come. She was one of those cases of superstars being called up way too early for their own good.

#3 Ronda Rousey

Again, this is admittedly a little far-fetched because Ronda Rousey is expected to leave after WrestleMania 35. However, there are few superstars on the roster, male or female that have the mainstream appeal that Ronda Rousey has.

It's no surprise that WWE pushed her to the moon and had her win the RAW Women's title in her fourth televised match-up. They have to get as much out of her as they can, but if she is to stay, then there are big things waiting for her.

She will continue to be the face of the women's division and can even be the face of WWE, period. It's really hard to argue against it because of the star power that Rousey has. Moreover, she's shown tremendous signs of improvement and can walk circles around many of the women in the division, despite being far more inexperienced.

Rousey can grow and learn like she has over the last year.

#2 Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is all business as she hits the squared circle.

She is The Man after all? Roman Reigns was The Guy and there are few people who can replace The Big Dog the way Becky Lynch has. Lynch's rise to stardom over the last year on SmackDown Live has been nothing short of fascinating.

From being the most neglected of the Four Horsewomen, she seized the one opportunity she got and ended up becoming the hottest superstar on the roster, male or female. There aren't many superstars as over as she is, and she's being primed as the babyface for the WrestleMania 35 main event.

She's not been an underdog over the last few months, but she's being booked as one in the WrestleMania storyline. It's a great thing because she's proven that she can take the ball and run with it in a big way.

It's also understandable why WWE would put their trust in her because she is what's called a "lifer" in WWE and isn't expected to leave until her retirement.

#1 Charlotte Flair

The Queen reminds the WWE Universe that she’s always said that this was her destiny.

It really couldn't have been anyone else. Love or hate Charlotte Flair, everything about her tells you that she's a top star. From her look to her mannerisms to the way she carries herself and her general presence, she feels like a top star because she knows that she is one.

Is it any surprise that at AT & T Stadium at WrestleMania 32 (the biggest one of all time), Charlotte was front and centre on the poster? Whether she's a heel or face, she's going to win multiple accolades throughout her career.

Like Becky Lynch, she too is a "lifer" in WWE. She can wrestle high calibre matches constantly and can be one of the stars to carry the company on her shoulders for years to come.

Don't be surprised if Charlotte Flair ends up crossing 16 Women's Championships when her career is all said and done.
