Beard does change up one's look a lot

Many superstars on WWE's current roster sport a bearded look or at least some sort of facial hair. A beard can drastically change one's appearance and the same is true for some of our beloved superstars.

Recently, SmackDown star Otis completely shaved off his long beard and appeared on the Blue brand with a clean-shaven face. The WWE Universe was surprised to see that version of him, with many even claiming that he looked almost unrecognizable. With that in mind, it is interesting to see what some of the other WWE Superstars look like without their beards.

Let's take a look at five current WWE Superstars who look almost unrecognizable without a beard. Be sure to comment down and let us know your reactions to the same. Who do you think has the best beard in WWE right now?

#5 Sheamus (WWE RAW)

Sheamus
Sheamus

Four-time world champion in WWE, Sheamus has been one of the top stars for the promotion for over a decade now. Famous among fans for his hard-hitting style and aggressive matches, he is one of the few WWE stars who almost always have a beard on.

However, the above picture shows Sheamus with a rare clean-shaved face alongside WWE Superstar Xavier Woods. The Celtic Warrior looks completely unrecognizable without his beard.

Sheamus currently performs on Monday Night RAW and is the United States Champion. He won the title by defeating Riddle at WrestleMania 37 earlier this year. Recently, he got badly injured during a match on RAW against Humberto Carrillo. He underwent surgery and fans began speculating whether he will vacate the United States title.

However, being the tough guy that he is, Sheamus made it clear that he has no intentions of vacating the title and he'd be back in action soon. It is to be seen what plans does WWE have for him at WWE SummerSlam later this year.

#4 Tommaso Ciampa (WWE NXT)

Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa

Long before Tommaso Ciampa dominated WWE's Black and Gold brand NXT, he appeared as a side-character on WWE TV in 2005. On an episode of SmackDown that year, Ciampa appeared as a lawyer, Thomas Whitney, representing Muhammad Hassan and had an in-ring segment with The Undertaker.

He looked completely different back then with a head full of hair and a clean-shaved face, the picture of which you can see above. Ciampa read a statement from Hassan to The Undertaker before The Phenom attacked him.

Tommaso Ciampa then went on to wrestle on the independent circuit and for promotions like TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. He returned to WWE in 2015 and formed a tag team with Johnny Gargano on NXT, collectively known as DIY.

Ciampa and Gargano went on to win the NXT Tag Team Championships soon. The two then had a massively personal rivalry against each other, having multiple amazing matches. Many claim their rivalry to be one of the best in NXT history.

In 2018, Tommaso Ciampa defeated Aleister Black to win the NXT Championship for the first time. He had an amazing reign but was unfortunately forced to relinquish the title in March 2019 due to his injuries.

While there were chances that his injury could force him into an early retirement, Ciampa returned to NXT later that year. He has since been a crucial part of the Black and Gold brand and it is to be seen when or if WWE moves him over to either RAW or SmackDown.

#3 Elias (WWE RAW)

Elias
Elias

Monday Night RAW Superstar Elias has maintained a consistent look throughout his WWE career with long hair and a long beard. However, before joining the company, he used to wrestle on the independent circuit. The above picture is from 2012 when Elias used to work for International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) as Logan Shulo where he can be seen in a different look without his long beard.

After working on the independent circuit for over five years, he signed with WWE in 2014 and started using the ring name Elias Samson, which was later shortened to just Elias. He appeared on NXT from 2014 to early 2017 with his Drifter gimmick and was then called up to Monday Night RAW.

Throughout his WWE career, Elias has mostly been used in comedic segments. His in-ring promos and him insulting other WWE Superstars singing a song with a guitar has been a very popular act with the fans. Many have compared his gimmick to be inspired by that of WWE Hall of Famer The Honky Tonk Man.

Elias is a four-time WWE 24/7 Champion. Recently, he was teaming up with Jaxson Ryker on Monday Night RAW. The two recently separated with the latter turning face.

#2 Seth Rollins (WWE SmackDown)

Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins

One of the biggest names on WWE's current roster, Seth Rollins has been a huge star for the promotion in the last decade. Throughout his main roster run, he has appeared with long hair as well as a beard. However, as seen in the picture above, Rollins has appeared with a clean-shaved look during the initial phase of his pro wrestling career.

After making a name for himself on the independent circuit and other promotions as Tyler Black, Seth Rollins signed with WWE in 2010. In 2012, he became the inaugural NXT Champion.

Later that year, Rollins made his main roster debut alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as The Shield at WWE Survivor Series 2012. The trio went on to become fan-favorites and saw massive success. The Shield is considered by many to be one of the best factions in the company's history.

In 2014, Seth Rollins turned on his Shield brothers and joined hands with The Authority. That kick-started his singles career on WWE's main roster which has been a massive success.

Rollins is currently one of the most featured stars on WWE programming, working on Friday Night SmackDown. He is a former two-time WWE Champion, two-time Universal Champion, 2014 Money in the Bank winner, 2019 Royal Rumble winner, and has won several other titles as well.

#1 Bray Wyatt (WWE RAW)

Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt

WWE's new face of fear Bray Wyatt is one of the few WWE Superstars known for their iconic bearded look. The above picture shows Wyatt without his iconic long beard, which makes him look like a completely different person altogether.

The leader of The Wyatt Family has had an impressive yet controversial career in WWE. Before the Bray Wyatt gimmick came, he appeared as Husky Harris on television and was part of the infamous faction The Nexus. Following this, he was repackaged as Bray Wyatt and started appearing on NXT alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan as The Wyatt Family.

Soon, WWE called The Wyatt Family up to the main roster. Fans initially loved the spooky new gimmicks but continuous losses and inconsistent booking harmed Bray Wyatt and his faction. But still, there were several memorable moments of The Wyatt Family that fans still cherish to this day.

In 2019, after being away from WWE television for a long time, Wyatt debuted a new character. The entire presentation of the Firefly Fun House segments and the introduction of The Fiend became the most popular act in WWE. However, the booking of The Fiend and continuous losses have once again derailed his momentum.

A two-time Universal Champion and one-time WWE Champion, Bray Wyatt last wrestled for the company at WrestleMania 37. As The Fiend, he lost to Randy Orton after some distraction from Alexa Bliss. He has since been away from WWE TV and fans are eagerly waiting for his return.
