The 2024 WWE King and Queen Premium Live Event is just a week away and will feature two new stars' crowning. The Queen of the Ring Tournament has been excellent, and the King of the Ring Tournament has also delivered.

Next week will see two semi-final matches for the men's tournament. Monday Night RAW will see Jey Uso go one-on-one with the incredible and unstoppable Gunther. Meanwhile, SmackDown's end of the bracket will see Tama Tonga clash with Randy Orton.

The Viper has had issues with The Bloodline in the past and even clashed with them as recently as at Backlash France. He felt the numbers game first hand when Tonga Loa cost him and Kevin Owens a victory. The end of SmackDown saw The Bloodline come out and stare Orton down, potentially teasing the same thing taking place.

Orton doesn't have to go into SmackDown alone, however. There are several performers who could step up and have his back. This article will break down a number of potential options in terms of which stars could be in The Viper's corner.

Below are four WWE stars who should be in Randy Orton's corner for his clash against Tama Tonga next week.

#4. Baron Corbin should be on WWE television

Baron Corbin has had mixed success in WWE. On one hand, he's a former United States Champion. Alternatively, he has been saddled with several bad gimmicks that impacted how fans react to him. A recent NXT run has helped course correct his status, however.

The Lone Wolf was drafted back to WWE Friday Night SmackDown this year and has only had one match thus far. While he lost in a bout with Carmelo Hayes, Baron showed that he wasn't the same Corbin he once was. He's much better.

Since Baron is a babyface now anyway, he could step up and have Randy Orton's back. Both are veterans in the company so the pair aligning doesn't seem that unrealistic. If nothing else, both are big men who can take the fight to The Bloodline.

#3. LA Knight has had issues with The Bloodline

LA Knight is one of the most popular superstars in all of pro wrestling today. Not only do fans chant for him and cheer him on in WWE, but his "yeah" catchphrase can even be heard by fans of other wrestling promotions. He's a star.

The Megastar went one-on-one with Tama Tonga on WWE Friday Night SmackDown last night. While he dominated much of the fight, Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa caused enough of a distraction to cost Knight the win.

Given that Orton and Knight have already worked together against The Bloodline before, it would make sense for them to do it again. Knight surely wants vengeance and working with The Viper may be the best way to make it happen.

#2. Kevin Owens could be back to help his friend

Kevin Owens is another incredibly popular WWE star. He is a former world champion who has even headlined WrestleMania on more than one occasion. Beyond that, Owens is an extremely talented performer who always gives it his all.

Sadly, The Prizefighter is currently away from WWE television. He was apparently injured by Tama Tonga, Solo Sikoa, and Tonga Loa. This has been unfortunate timing, as it has caused him to leave Randy Orton all himself.

Prior to the injury, Orton and Owens were teaming up. This includes both on SmackDown and at Backlash France. If Kevin is healthy, the new team could again work together in the King of the Ring semi-finals next week.

#1. Jimmy Uso could return

Jimmy Uso is a decorated tag team superstar. In fact, it could be argued that he and his brother Jey are the most successful and the greatest tag team in WWE history. They do share the longest title run together, which certainly helps their case.

Uso spent several years as part of The Bloodline, but things changed recently. After Roman Reigns and The Rock left WWE television, Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline. He and Tama Tonga then brutalized Jimmy and kicked him out of the stable.

The talented Jimmy has been out hurt ever since, but that could change next week. Despite his past issues with Randy Orton, Uso could return and stand by The Viper's side to make sure Solo and Loa don't get involved in the King of the Ring semi-finals match.
