While Seth Rollins is preparing to take on Brock Lesnar, in probably the biggest challenge of his life, the Curb Stomp might be the biggest weapon in The Architect's arsenal. Even though Rollins has used various finishers in his matches - from Pedigree to "The Knee", the Curb Stomp is the one move that always made him relevant. Rollins has perfected the move, and the innovations he uses to pull off the move is a thing of beauty.

The Curb Stomp is one of the most protected moves in WWE. After all, once Rollins hit the stomp on his opponent, it is almost sure that the match is coming to a close. Only a handful of WWE Superstars have kicked out of the Curb Stomp. In this list, we will take a look at the four WWE Superstars who managed to kick out of the Curb Stomp.

#4 John Cena - Royal Rumble 2015

One of Seth Rollins' best matches in WWE came in the form of a triple threat between John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Rollins for WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble 2015. Cena earned the opportunity to challenge Lesnar for the title after winning a Hell in a Cell match against Randy Orton. However, since Rollins was the Authority's golden boy, he got a direct entry to the match.

With a lot of close finishers and high spots, the clash between three classes of wrestlers was impressive, to say the least. In order to subdue the beast, Rollins and Cena worked together for a while. Once they took care of him, it was between the Cenation leader and the Architect. Rollins connected the Curb Stomp on Cena, and while he was pinning, Cena kicked out of the Curb Stomp.

WrestleMania 31 is one of the most iconic WrestleManias of all time. Sting making WWE in-ring debut, Daniel Bryan completing the grand slam, Seth Rollins stealing the whole show with a brilliant Money in the Bank cash in - the entire show was terrific. However, one of the best matches of the night was between Seth Rollins and Randy Orton - who had an intense rivalry between them leading into WrestleMania.

The iconic image of Orton countering a Curb Stomp to an RKO went viral on the internet. Most WWE fans acknowledge it as the best RKO of all time. However, the rest of the match was also brilliant.

During the match, Orton actually kicked out of the curb stomp at the count of two to keep himself alive in the match.

#2 Dean Ambrose - Hell in a Cell 2014

After The Shield split for the first time in 2014, Roman Reigns went to the main event. Both Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were involved in an intense rivalry against each other.

The two had a series of matches from SummerSlam to Hell in a Cell. The two resumed their rivalry after Rollins won his first WWE world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania 31.

As mentioned earlier, their first mini-feud had culminated at Hell in a Cell 2014, where these two squared off against each other in Hell in a Cell match which headlined the PPV. Rollins' finisher was never been kicked out of before this match.

However, in this match, The Lunatic Fringe shocked the world by becoming the first superstar in WWE to kick out of the Curb Stomp. Even though Ambrose kicked out of the stomp, Rollins ended the night standing tall.

#1 Brock Lesnar - Royal Rumble 2015

Yes, Seth Rollins' upcoming opponent at WrestleMania has already tasted the Curb Stomp multiple times and had already kicked out of it. Rollins could not even pin Brock after hitting a stomp at WrestleMania 31 after the former had cashed in during the match between the latter and Roman Reigns. While Rollins was attempting a second consecutive stomp, Lesnar easily picked The Architect up.

However, there has been an instance where Rollins got an opportunity to pin the beast after hitting the stomp - during the above mentioned triple threat match between Lesnar, Rollins and John Cena.

Some of you may find this entry a bit controversial. Rollins hit the Beast Incarnate with the Stomp. While pinning Lesnar, Rollins could only attain the count of two due to the apparent interference from John Cena. However, if you look closely, you could see Lesnar kicking out of the move. Even if Cena failed to break the fall, Lesnar would have been safe since he kicked out of it.
