Survivor Series is the one night of the year where WWE's brands, RAW and SmackDown, battle in head-to-head competition. So far, 8 matches have been announced for the 2018 show.

#1 Men's Team Raw vs Team SmackDown - Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and two TBD (Raw) vs Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Shane McMahon, Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio (SmackDown)

#2 Women's Team Raw vs Team SmackDown - Alexa Bliss and four TBD (Raw) vs Charlotte Flair, Carmella, Naomi, Asuka, and Sonya Deville (SmackDown)

#3 WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Buddy Murphy (c) vs Mustafa Ali

#4 Tag Team Champions - AOP (Raw) vs The Bar (SmackDown)

#5 Mid-card Champions - Seth Rollins (Raw, IC title) vs Shinsuke Nakamura (SmackDown, US title)

#6 Women's Champions - Ronda Rousey (Raw) vs Becky Lynch (SmackDown)

#7 Heavyweight Champions - Brock Lesnar (Raw, Universal Champion) vs AJ Styles (SmackDown, WWE Champion)

#8 10-on-10 tag team's elimination match - Team Raw vs Team SmackDown - five TBD (RAW) vs The New Day, The Usos and 3 TBD (SmackDown)

The final two participants of the first match will be revealed on the go-home RAW episode of Survivor Series, and here are the two superstars who should be on Corbin's team, and two who should not.

#1 Should be - Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley needs a push from the WWE Creative team, and Survivor Series could be their golden chance to do so. This move would even make sense in kayfabe, as Baron Corbin, the captain of Team RAW, had rewarded Lashley for executing a beat-down on Finn Balor.

He allotted him a place in the WWE World Cup, and the two heels showed great collaboration. Lashley could defeat Finn Balor once again to seal his place on Team RAW, or could be handpicked by Corbin as a member of his team.

#1 Should not be - Finn Balor

Finn Balor would further be buried at Survivor Series 2018

Finn Balor is one of the most underused superstars in the WWE, and deserves a place on the Survivor Series match card. But given the way he was booked in the 5-on-5 Survivor Series tag team elimination match in 2017, it would be better for Finn to be left out of the team.

It does not even make sense in kayfabe as Balor has had his own issues with team captain Corbin, and with Kurt Angle no longer in line to captain the team, the chances of Corbin picking Finn Balor are nominal.

He could be a part of the 10-on-10 tag team elimination match since there are not many credible tag teams on the flagship show. Perhaps, forming an alliance with Elias or any other face superstar would do wonders for the tag team match as well.

#2 Should be - Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews has failed on the main roster thus far, but it seems like the WWE Creative are trying hard to rebuild him. Given the talent he possesses, he could certainly feature in the mid-card or upper mid-card matches on RAW.

The former member of Titus Worldwide defeated the former WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, in under 3 minutes on the previous episode of RAW.

Crews is one of the most athletic and flexible superstars in the ring who can pull off some of the most mesmerising moves in wrestling.

He should have received this push earlier, and given that Elias has issues with Corbin, there's no other superstar on the RAW roster who deserves a chance than Apollo Crews. Even if he is eliminated first, his involvement in this mega match-up would elevate him to the next level.

#2 Should not be - Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose certainly does not fit in the RAW team for Survivor Series. He is currently part of a heated rivalry with Seth Rollins, and to have both superstars in different matches would do no good.

With Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey seemingly walking out victorious from their champion vs champion matches, there needs to be a RAW Champion who takes the pin at the inter-brand warfare.

Instead, WWE could have Ambrose cost Rollins the match, protecting The Kingslayer's character, and also help Nakamura pick up one of the biggest wins of his career.
