Anissa Meksen shared footage of her hitting pads while preparing for an opportunity to become a world champion in ONE Championship.

On July 5, ONE will return to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for ONE Fight Night 23. In the main event, Meksen will go toe-to-toe against Filipino-American star Jackie Buntan for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title.

Meksen is a former 7x kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion outside of ONE. With that said, the French-Algerian hasn't secured gold in the promotion, which would further her legacy tremendously.

Heading into ONE Fight night 23, 'C18' has been working hard in her preparations for Buntan. Meksen recently provided a sneak peek to fans by sharing training footage that was reposted by ONE on Instagram with the following caption:

"Anissa Meksen is a MACHINE How will the inaugural ONE Women's Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship tilt between her and Jackie Buntan go down at ONE Fight Night 23 on @primevideo?"

ONE Fight Night 23 doesn't have a confirmed lineup, but the kickboxing matchup between Anissa Meksen and Jackie Buntan is enough to have fans excited. The July 5 event can be seen live and for free by American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Jackie Buntan is undoubtedly a threat to become the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world champion. It should be noted that Anissa Meksen will have an advantage in their ONE Fight Night 23 matchup, as she has more kickboxing experience inside and outside of the promotion.

Since making her ONE debut, Buntan has fought seven times in the promotion, all in the women's strawweight Muay Thai division. The Filipino-American superstar is riding a three-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision against Martine Michieletto last time out to extend her record to 6-1.

Meanwhile, Meksen holds promotional records of 2-0 in Muay Thai and 1-1 in kickboxing. She last fought in December 2023, suffering a unanimous decision defeat against Phetjeeja for the interim atomweight kickboxing throne.
