Former two-division ONE world champion Aung La N Sang is ready to go — he's just waiting on the promotion to make the call.
'The Burmese Python' is among the most beloved fighters in all of ONE Championship. Making his debut a decade ago, he has earned victories over some of the biggest names in ONE history, including Vitaly Bigdash, Brandon Vera, and Yushin 'Thunder' Okami.

It's been nearly a year since the last time Aung La N Sang stepped inside the Circle — something he hopes to change very soon.
"Put me in again coach! @onechampionship waiting on your call," Aung La wrote in the Instagram comments.
Currently, 'The Burmese Python' is on a three-fight win streak after stringing together a trio of highlight-reel finishes against Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and Fan Rong.
Aung La N Sang is far from done
Having already claimed the ONE middleweight and light heavyweight MMA world titles, Aung La N Sang has nothing left to prove. Still, the Burmese superstar is driven by his hunger to once again wrap 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold around his waist and he refuses to walk away until he can make that dream a reality once again.
“I don’t care how long it takes, I’m still gunning for the title. And it’s one of those things that I don’t need to be in this sport anymore, but I want to be because I still have that hunger," Aung La told the promotion.
“I still want to be champion again, and I still want to put on great shows for the fans. My job as a professional fighter is not done," he added.
With three straight victories and winning four of his last five, many believe that Aung La should be the next man in line for a middleweight MMA world title opportunity.
Unfortunately, that puts him in the path of one of ONE Championship's most destructive forces — current middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin.
