Right then, we have come to the end of our coverage from this IPL encounter. It was a brilliant all-round performance by the Delhi Capitals to post their first win of the tournament. It was a fine batting effort but on a pitch which looked a belter at the halfway stage, DC would have felt that they lost out on 10-15 runs. However their bowlers came out breathing fire and set it up perfectly as the Capitals eventually posted a 20 run win. The IPL carnival continues and it will be the Mumbai Indians and the Rajasthan Royals who will square off against each other in the 14th match of the competition. Khaleel Ahmed is the Player of the Match, here is what he had to say: I have worked hard and played a lot of matches in the last six matches. I have learnt my game much more and trying to execute it in the match. I love when the ball is swinging. T20 game is a batters game but when the ball swing and you batters, it's always a great sight for a fast bowler. I tried to keep myself fit. You understand your game much better while playing in the domestic circuit. Ultimate goal is play longer format and play for India.

Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals captain): I think bowlers were very clinical today. We learnt from our mistakes and came out strong today. He has been working hard from the last two weeks. We thought it's time to give him a chance and he flourished today. It will depend on match to match. If Mukesh can bowl in the death it will be great for us. As a cricketer I have to give my hundred percent. I took my time initially as I hadn't played too many games in the last one and a half years. Every day I love to be on the field. Yes that one and a half years was tough but you have to keep learning from it. The self belief was always there.

Anrich Nortje: Thank you very much, it felt a lot better today, slowly but surely getting into things, really felt good and more the games it's good for me, training has been paying well for me. Like I said, the training has been good, try and focus, where I want to do, where I want to land and something that I know already, but just try and focus as much as I can, try and execute wherever I can. I think we're just building slowly, the way guys has been starting especially, Khaleel, Ishant and Mukesh, swinging the ball, taking wickets and bowling at good pace and trying and feed off the energy, exciting for me as a third or fourth change bowler.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (Chennai Super Kings captain): I was pretty much happy with how they came back after first six overs, kind of start they had, 60 for no loss and restricting them to 190 was a good effort. I thought the wicket played good slightly on the better side in the first innings, but in the second innings it was some seam movement off the deck and spongy bounce as well. (About Khaleel's spell) I was talking to Rachin, he was missing it by some margin with extra-bounce, first few overs, we couldn't get going and that was the difference at the end. (About the surface) At the half-way stage it was still gettable, after three or four overs, there was extra seam movement in the powerplay and we were always catching up, we couldn't get one big over to come back into the contest. (About using five bowlers when a team gets a jump start) Not really, Deepak is always used to bowl three overs, the first three overs we were doing good, the last two overs is where they got away with, just one no-ball, pretty you can expect them to attack, with two good games, the third game was expected to go slightly below par, not much worried. (About the confidence from this loss) To be on the losing side, just by the margin of 20 runs, matter of two or three hits and with the bowling, if he had stopped a couple of boundaries here and there would've made the difference.

The crowd in Vishakapatnam got their money's worth as they saw MS Dhoni coming out to bat for the first time in the season and he didn't disappoint. He smashed his way to a 16-ball 37 which wasn't enough to take their side over the finish line. The target looked within grasp at the halfway stage but some scintillating bowling from the fast bowlers helped DC win their first game of the competition.

The Chennai Super Kings needed to get off to a decent start but Khaleel Ahmed and Ishant Sharma had other ideas. They breathed fire with the new ball and didn't really allow the two inform openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra to get going. Gaikwad got an inside edge to a good length delivery while Rachin was also dismissed in the next over.

With the score reading 7/2, the Chennai Super Kings looked under a whole heap of pressure with Ajinkya Rahane and Daryl Mitchell joined hands to resurrect the ship. Rahane in particular started finding his feet while Mitchell took his time initially before getting into his groove. The duo shared a 68 run stand to put CSK in a good position. It was Axar Patel who sent back Mitchell with a flatter trajectory delivery before Rahane and Shivam Dube continued building the stand.

Dube struggled to time the ball like he did the other day against Gujarat. Mukesh Kumar was kept for the death overs and bagged two wickets off consecutive deliveries to tilt the scales in favor of the Delhi Capitals. Ravindra Jadeja played a dodgy knock, scoring a 16 ball 19 and by then, the match seemed dead and buried. MS Dhoni came out to bat for the first time in the tournament and he got underway with a brilliant boundary towards the backward square leg region.

He enjoyed his time in the middle by smashing boundaries at will. However it wasn't enough to take CSK over the finish line. Dhoni smashed three sixes during his unbeaten 37 off 16 deliveries but the Delhi Capitals will take it. The first time they have beaten CSK in the last five games. Brilliant execution from the bowlers and this will give them a lot of confidence.

Khaleel Ahmed and Ishant Sharma were brilliant at the top while Mukesh Kumar bagged three wickets bowling in the death. CSK lost their first game of the competition but the crowd will be overjoyed to see some glimpses of MSD.

Another stupendous over from Mukesh Kumar. He was kept for the death and he hasn't disappointed. Nailing his Yorkers and have taken three crucial wickets to change the complexion of the game.
