Pro Kabaddi Semi-Final 2, Live Match telecast: Watch Telugu Titans vs Jaipur Pink Panthers, PKL 2016 online at Starsports.com

Will the skipper lead his team to the finals?

Semi-Final 2 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 4 pits the Telugu Titans up against former champions, Jaipur Pink Panthers. The enthralling group matches are finally over, and we are left with 4 teams – Patna Pirates, Titans, Pink Panthers, and Puneri Paltans.

Telugu Titans had an incredible run, especially in the second half of the group stage, to finish just behind Patna Pirates, at 2nd place. Jaipur Pink Panthers led the table for quite some time, but couldn’t hold on to it too long, as they finished 3rd.

The live streaming for the Pro Kabaddi League Season 4 game between the Telugu Titans vs Jaipur Pink Panthers will be available on starsports.com, from 21:00 IST. The match will be telecasted live from Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, and will be aired on Star Sports 2 (HD) in English and Star Sports 3 (HD) in Hindi.

Telugu Titans pulled off an incredible performance in their last match against defending champions, Patna Pirates. Both the teams had already qualified for the semis and rested some key players, Titans rested the likes of Nilesh Salunke, Jasmer Singh Gulia, Sandeep Dhull and Vinod, but not their skipper, Rahul Chaudhari.

Abolfazel played well for the Pirates, but Chaudhari terrorized the Patna defense to lead Titans to a 20-10 halftime lead. The sensational Pardeep Narwal was brought on in the second half, but he could not do much. Rahul Chaudhari was at his best and continues to dazzle everyone with his performances. Pirates tried hard to come back but it was too tall a mountain to climb, as Titans won 46-25.

Rahul Chaudhari has been exceptional this season, and pretty unstoppable. He gave the best proof of it in their last match, as a strong Patna defense had no answer for him. Chaudhari is the best raider so far in Season 4, with 119 raid points. Titans will count on his performance, and leadership, in this crucial Semi-Final.

Nilesh Salunke hasn’t been too impressive this season, but he needs to provide support to the skipper. The Jaipur defense with the likes of Ran Singh and Amit Hooda will be difficult to break down, and it will be interesting to see the match-up between Chaudhari and Salunke vs Hooda and Singh.

There were a lot of questions asked about the Titans’ defense before the start of Season 4, but they have silenced all their critics with solid defensive performances- thanks to the trio of Sandeep Narwal, Sandeep Dhull, and Vinod. They have 40, 32 and 30 successful tackle points to their credit, and have to stand strong against one of the best attacks this season.

Jaipur Pink Panthers played their last match against today’s opponent, Telugu Titans, but fielded a relatively weakened side as they had already qualified for the semis without the likes of Jasvir Singh and Shabeer Bapu. Jaipur Pink Panthers started off the night well, and put the Titans under pressure, but Rahul Chaudhari was exceptional to give Titans a 17-10 halftime lead.

Jaipur Pink Panthers tried to stage a mini-comeback, but it proved too much for the Panthers. An exceptional performance by Chaudhari, and a solid defensive performance by Sandeep Narwal led Titans to 35-23 victory.

Jaipur’s attacking trio has been in top form this season, but has faded away a bit in their recent matches. The trio consists the likes of skipper, Jasvir Singh, Rajesh Narwal and Ajay Kumar, with 62, 56 and 54 raid points in Season 4. The Titans defense has been impressive, too, and the battle between Jaipur’s attack and Telugu’s defense might have a huge say in the outcome of the match.

Jaipur’s main man in defense is Amit Hooda, and along with Ran Singh, will have a very hard task of stopping the unstoppable Rahul Chaudhari. Jaipur has to find a way to stop him or like on many occasions before, he can run away with the game.

The teams have faced each other twice this season, with both the teams winning a match, each. Will Chaudhari raid the Jaipur defense once again, or will the former champs bounce back to book a place in the finals of Pro Kabaddi League Season 4?
