Handed a loss by U-Mumba in their opening encounter, the Jaipur Pink Panthers have done well to script a win against the Telugu Titans and tie a match against the Bengaluru Bulls. For their third consecutive home game, they will be facing a formidable Bengal Warriors side, who present almost the same features in their squad when compared to the Bengaluru Bulls. The Bengal Warriors will look to continue their winning run which they sustained after beating Dabang Delhi in their second game this season.

Returning home to Jaipur after an unsuccessful Mumbai leg which saw them losing their only match to U-Mumba, the Pink Panthers found their footing when they crossed paths with the Telugu Titans for their first home game of the season.
A shaky start for the Panthers
In their opening encounter against U-Mumba, the Panthers saw all their starting seven players contributing with some points, with Shabeer Bapu being the standout. However, all the contributions were very small, a single point or two. U-Mumba had erstwhile contributions from Rakesh Kumar and Rishank Devadiga at crucial junctions which saw them take home the first victory of their campaign.
In their second tie, even though Jaipur emerged victorious from the tie against the Telugu Titans, it was a keenly contested battle. At no stage did Telugu Titans give up, and gave the Panthers a sure cut run for their money.
With minutes remaining in the game, some costly errors from the Titans proved fatal for them as they squandered a huge lead in terms of the way the match was heading from where they could never control the game. Rajesh Narwal was the best player for the Panthers, with 8 points in the game, while Jasvir contributed with quality raids in the second half. Panther’s hero against U-Mumba, Shabeer Bapu presented a pale shadow of himself but was substituted well by Rajesh Narwal’s stunning raids.
Late fight back against Bengaluru helps win a point
Against the Bengaluru Bulls, Jaipur was almost down and out going into the second half, but some immaculate raiding from Jasvir Singh and defending from the duo of Rajesh Narwal and Ran Singh saw the Pink Panthers salvage a stunning draw. Surrounded by a cauldron of noise courtesy owner Abhishek Bachchan’s ever existent energy, the Panthers played out a superb second half after a dismal first half, to win the match and remain unbeaten at home against the Bengaluru Bulls.
Bengal Warriors have momentum on their side going into this match, after beating the Dabang Delhi unit comprehensively by eight points. Inspired by Ravi Dalal, who came on as the substitute, the Warriors made short work of Delhi to get their campaign back on track.
Brought in as a substitute against Bengaluru Bulls, Korean import Jang Kun Lee produced a magnificent super raid to bring the match into Bengal’s grasp. Debuting this season, Monu Goyat, the man from the services often took out Bengaluru defenders with ease and will play a crucial role against the Pink Panthers.
The Bengal defence has been ably led by skipper Nilesh Shinde and assisted by Girish Maruti Ernak, both who were retained by Bengal ahead of the season. The defence has been very strong, even without major contributions from covers Vishal Prabhakar Mane and C. Arun.
When both the teams step foot on the mat, it will be a battle of great quality. The Jaipur raiders, however, will have an arduous task to get through the Bengal defence while Jang Kun Lee and Nitin Madane will have to tread carefully against the roaring defence of Jaipur.
