In their second last match at home in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, the Haryana Steelers will clash against the Puneri Paltan at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat.

This will be the first time that the two Zone A teams will clash against each other in this season and both of them are coming into this match on the back of contrasting results. Haryana Steelers won their match last night against Dabang Delhi while Puneri Paltan ended up on the losing side against the Bengaluru Bulls earlier in this leg.

The Haryana Steelers will be on the hunt for yet another win tonight and it will be Surender Nada leading the proceeding for the side win the capacity of the skipper. The left corner defender will work in tandem with his right corner partner Mohit Chhillar, and together the duo are as lethal as any defensive pair the league has ever witnessed.

The rest of the defence will comprise of Neeraj Kumar and the young Jeeva Gopal who was included in the starting seven in the last match. The raiding unit will be led by the experienced Wazir Singh who was stellar on the mat last night with a brilliant Super Raid effort which turned the momentum of the game in his side's favour.

He will be assisted by Prashant Rai and Surjeet Singh will Deepak Dahiya will come in as the super sub as per the situation.

Puneri Paltan, on the other hand, have a host of experienced players in their squad and are led by the talismanic Deepak Hooda on the mat who performs as the frontline raider. He is assisted by the likes of Rajesh Mondal for the do-or-die raids and all-rounder Sandeep Narwal on a few occasions.

The defence of the side is manned by the very experienced Dharmaraj Cheralathan who is supported by Bangladeshi recruit Ziaur Rehman and young gun Monu alongside Ravi Kumar. With Girish Ernak out due to injury concerns, the side may face a slight problem in keeping the Haryana attack at bay and will possibly bring in an extra raider to try and keep the scoreboard ticking.
