Who is leading the 2024 Mizuho Americas Open after Day 3? Leaderboard explored

The third round of the 2024 Mizuho Americas Open was played on Saturday, May 18, at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey. Nelly Korda and Hannah Green proved once again that they are the two best players on the circuit at the moment.

Green played her third round for an outstanding score of 63 but could not climb to the top of the leaderboard. Korda carded a score of 65. She leads by two strokes, with 18 holes to play.

Nelly Korda, the winner of five consecutive LPGA Tour tournaments in 2024, carded seven birdies with no bogeys to take her score to 13 under after 54 holes. Korda has gone from strength to strength in the tournament, with rounds of 70, -68, and 65.

The season's other multiple-time winner Hannah Green also played bogey-free, with nine birdies. Rookie Gabriela Ruffels is putting on another excellent showing at the 2024 Mizuho Americas Open and after the third round, she is tied with Ayaka Furue for third place.

Other standout players at the Mizuho Americas Open are Sophia Popov, Jennifer Kupcho, and Pajaree Anannarukarn, all tied for fifth place with a score of 9 under.
