The 2024 PGA Championship concluded its second round. Players finishing above the cut line of 1-under par qualified for the third round, while those finishing below the line returned home. The tournament experienced a delay due to fog early in the morning, but it was eventually completed.

Former Masters winner Jon Rahm struggled at the Major and did not make the cut. He started with a round of 70 on Thursday, followed by another round of 72 to score even par, missing the cut by just one stroke. With a round of 73 on the second day, Matt Fitzpatrick also failed to secure a spot in the third round of the event.

Tiger Woods failed to make the cut, finishing with a score of 7-over par after playing two rounds of 72 and 77. However, he is not the only top-ranked player who missed the cut at this Major; several other big names also will not be able to tee off in the third round.

Six-time Major winner Phil Mickelson failed to cut the tournament alongside his fellow LIV golfer Andy Ogletree. Nick Dunlap, who started his professional career after winning The American Express 2024 earlier this year, also struggled at the PGA Championship and did not make the cut. He shot two rounds of 74 and 73 to settle for a score of +5.

Wyndham Clark also had a disappointing outing at the Major. He shot two rounds of 71 and 75, only to settle for a score of over par 4. Former World No. 1 Adam Scott, Si Woo Kim, Chris Kirk, Padraig Harrington, and Matthieu Pavon also failed to make the cut this week.
