Adam Hadwin's club found the water hazard on the par five seventh hole of Valhalla Golf Club during the second round of the 2024 PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. A fan stripped down his clothes to dive into the water hazard to retrieve Hadwin's club.
The Canadian professional's wife, Jessica Hadwin, had a very humorous reaction to the incident. She took to the X (formerly Twitter) to share a clip of the fan diving into the seventh hole water hazard stripped down and wrote:
"Me landing in Louisville: ahh ready for a chill little kid free weekend. My husband: [video of fan jumping into the water harazard to retrieve Adam Hadwin's golf club]."

Adam Hadwin's wife Jessica Hadwin has always been quick to comment on her husband's incidents on the golf course on the PGA Tour. The Canadian golfer threw his club into the water hazard of TPC Sawgrass' par 3 18th hole after missing the green and playing his shot.
Hadwin had never missed the green on the 18th hole of TPC Sawgrass in his past 28 rounds played on the course. However, his shot found the water hazard breaking his streak.
His wife Jessica Hadwin was quick to comment on this incident as well. She took to X to say:
"The streak has been broken."
In another post on X, unaware that her husband Adam Hubbard threw his club into the water after missing the green, Jessica Hadwin wrote:
"I apparantly missed a little moment on 18 where the club joined the ball so I can not help you with commentary, but I'll be sure to ask as soon as the round ends what happened!"
Jessica Hadwin rates the aesthetic of Adam Hadwin's 2024 Players Championship club toss into the 18th-hole water hazard as a ten out of ten. Shooter McGavin also took to X to share that the club tossed as an "A+".
Adam Hadwin had thrown his 8 iron into the water hazard during 2024 Players and the club was not retrieved. Callaway shipped Hadwin a replacement club soon after the incident.
