Where to find Agent Jones in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

Agent Jones has been missing from the island in Fortnite for quite some time now. Following the update v22.40, he's been added back to the game and can be found pacing about in Fort Jonesy. Those who have been around since Chapter 2 Season 6, will be delighted to know that he's wearing the Jump 42 style.

Players can either talk to the NPC while completing the second set of Paradise Quests or interact with him at their own leisure. That said, those who decide to interact with him will be able to purchase a Cow Catcher and Hammer Assault Rifle (rare) for 100 gold bars each.

However, considering that both these items can easily be acquired for free, unless push comes to shove, buying them is a waste. Players are better off saving their gold bars to spend during the upcoming Bargain Bin week.

Coming back to Agent Jones, what makes him special compared to the other snapshots of the character is the fact that he has a 100% spawn chance. During any given match, he does not swap out with any other snapshot. While this small change may seem random at best, there's a good reason behind it.

Agent Jones is gearing up to save Fortnite (again)

Without giving away too many details about the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event, it has been confirmed that Agent Jones will once more take charge of saving Reality Zero.

Furthermore, there's a fair bit of speculation that Midas will make an appearance during the live event as well. This comes from the fact that Paradigm talks about something called "Project Loop Breaker".

Since Midas tried to break The Loop back in Chapter 2, there's a strong connection. However, considering that the Imagined Order constructed The Collider, the technology is not exclusive at this point. That said, it's still unclear what Project Loop Breaker will do.

According to the popular Fortnite theorist, AkoAgent, the live event may culminate with Chapter 4's map being created from bits and pieces of Chapter 2 and 3 maps. However, how this conclusion will be reached in-game is yet to be discovered.

Will Agent Jones be present in Fortnite Chapter 4?

Given how many snapshots of the characters there are in-game, it's safe to say that Agent Jones will be here until the very end. If it weren't for him, Reality Zero would have ended in Chapter 2 Season 6.

Now, with the community absolutely in love with him, there's no way that he'll be eliminated anytime soon. Also, considering his history with the Imagined Order, The Seven needs him alive at all costs. The information he possesses will likely prove invaluable in the seasons and chapters yet to come.

With that said, there's no doubt that Agent Jones will not only be present in Chapter 4, but will play a major role yet again in the next phase of the storyline. While some may call it plot armor, Epic Games knows that without Jonesy, things will never be the same again.
