Where to dig up and collect Terrifying Tablatures in Fortnite

Players are being tasked with finding Terrifying Tablatures in Fortnite as part of the latest Fortnitemares 2022 challenge. While the task of digging up occult objects is not something new to players, the location at which it has to be done is rather intimidating.

However, those who do manage to complete this challenge will receive 15,000 XP and a brand new lobby music track. That said, it's time to gear up, grab a shovel, and get to digging for Terrifying Tablatures in Fortnite.

A step-by-step guide on where to find, dig up and collect Terrifying Tablatures in Fortnite

1) Land in the pumpkin patch at Grim Gables

To begin this Fortnitemares 2022 challenge and find Terrifying Tablatures in Fortnite, players must first land in the pumpkin patch at Grim Gables. Keep in mind that this POI is currently a hot-drop zone, so caution is advised. Finding some basic gear is highly recommended.

Once in the pumpkin patch, look for a mound of dirt. Approach it and hit it with the harvesting tool/pickaxe. Players should not shoot at it as that will not work. Once the Terrifying Tablature pops out, collect it to progress along with the challenge.

2) Turn left and head towards the shed behind the large house

After collecting one of the four Terrifying Tablatures in Fortnite, turn left and head straight while keeping the house at Grim Gables on your left-hand side. Keep walking straight until a shed appears.

On the ground next to the shed's door, another mound of dirt should be visible. Much like before, use the pickaxe/harvesting tool to dig into it. Once this is complete, collect the Terrifying Tablature and turn left to proceed. Two down, two to go.

3) Turn left and head into the cornfield

Walk straight towards the cornfield, keeping it in line with the Reboot Van. Avoid walking through the corn as jump scares are hidden within. Upon reaching the Reboot Van, turn left to find a mound of dirt next to a small windmill.

Approach it and use the harvesting tool/pickaxe to unearth the third Terrifying Tablature. Once completed, do a full 180 and turn around. Another segment of the cornfield will now come into view, which is where the final Tablature can be found.

4) Turn 180 degrees and walk straight into the cornfield

After turning around, walk straight into the cornfield and look for an opening. If required, pan the camera around to see better. Again, keep in mind that jumpscares or players could be lurking in the cornfield as well. For those who don't want to risk entering the cornfield, using a Firefly Jar to burn it down is a viable option.

For those who aren't scared, keep walking until a small opening appears. A mound of dirt can be found next to the chest. Use a pickaxe/harvesting tool to dig up the soil and collect the final Terrifying Tablature. Once done, players are advised to rotate away from the POI to avoid getting stuck in an unfavorable gunfight.
