How to recover AMIE's test vessels and observe the results in Fortnite Chapter 4

The second part of Oathbound Quests was dropped in Fortnite last week with the v23.20 update, and it brought an exciting set of challenges for loopers that has progressed Chapter 4 Season 1's medieval storyline. Players had been waiting a long time for these quests ever since Winterfest 2022 concluded.

Now that they're here, each one will grant them 20,000 XP upon completion, which will help them level up faster across their Battle Pass. They were also introduced to a new character, Rift Warden Stellan, who has entered the loop and is tasked with creating a Rift Gate for The Ageless Champion, who wants to bridge new realities to the island.

Throughout several stages of Part 2 of Oathbound Quests, players gathered equipment and performed the necessary tasks required to build a Rift Gate. However, as they completed the said objectives, The Seven's AI AMIE stepped in to warn the loopers about Stellan and The Ageless' motives.

To clear their suspicions, the loopers collected three objects and sent them through a test rift that AMIE created. Here's how you can recover them and observe the results in Fortnite Chapter 4.

Fortnite Oathbound Quest Part 2 Stage 3 guide: Recover AMIE's test vessels and observe the results

The final stage of Oathbound Quests Part 2 requires loopers to recover the test vessels they sent through a rift that AMIE created, and observe their results. While the previous stages were quite challenging, this one is equally complicated where they might need to traverse across the Fortnite island to collect the items.

To complete the Oathbound Quest in Fortnite Chapter 4, follow these steps:

1) Head to the Oathbound Quests Tab to find the ready-to-recover test vessels

To begin with, open the Quests Tab and head to Oathbound Quests, where you will be able to see the locations of the test vessels you need to recover, on the Fortnite map on the right.

The three test vessels are scattered far from one another across the island. It would be ideal for you to either take a vehicle or carry an item like Shockwave Hammer, which would help you move around the island easily.

2) Land on the marked location on the far south-east and interact with the vessel

You can choose to collect all three vessels across different matches in Fortnite. However, if you aim to complete the quest in one go, then it would be ideal to first collect the one placed on the far east of the map, located south of Faulty Splits.

Land on the marked location and you will spot a giant structure that resembles the Cuddle Team Leader’s head from Rave Cave in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. Head towards the structure and you will be able to see the Teddy Bear toy placed on the ground in front of the structure's entry point. Move towards it and interact with it to recover the test vessel.

3) Land on the marked location west of Slappy Shores and interact with the vessel

After collecting the first vessel, open the Fortnite map and locate the next one placed between Slappy Shores and Faulty Splits. Before reaching there, it would be ideal to loot some weapons and consumables to defend yourself against any enemies you may come across.

As soon as you reach the marked location, you will easily be able to spot the taco placed on the ground. Move towards it and interact with it to recover the vessel. AMIE will then analyze and observe the results of the recovered material.

4) Land on the marked location south of Anvil Square and interact with the vessel

To collect the third and final test vessel, head south to Anvil Square near the body of the water located at the center of Fortnite's map. Eliminate any enemies nearby and head over to the marked location where you will easily spot the rifted seashell.

Walk towards it and interact with it to recover the test vessel. As soon as you collect the final one, AMIE will observe them and draw a conclusion about the rifted test vessels. Listen carefully to the narrative lines spoken by AMIE as it reveals what was on the other side of the rift and how the vessels were affected by it.

It turns out The Scientist was in danger and the vessels were corrupted by an invisible force waiting on the other side of the Rift Gate to take over the Fortnite island.

The mystery still clouds loopers' minds after the completion of the quests. However, they will have to wait for this suspense to unravel when Part 3 of Oathbound Quests arrives in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 next week with the v23.30 update.
