However, not everyone will be eligible to receive the V-Bucks. It will only be given out to those who have purchased the Saint Academy Quest Pack before a certain internal issue was discovered and fixed by the game's developers. Fortnite's Saint Academy Quest Pack fiasco and 500 free V-Bucks

Due to an internal labeling issue, this particular quest pack stated that players would earn 1,500 V-Bucks. However, that was not the case as the actual amount credited to players was 1,000 V-Bucks. To elaborate, the cover image of the quest pack mentioned that players can earn up to 1,000 V-Bucks. However, the finer details inside the pack mentioned 1,500 V-Bucks.

Given that the details mentioned inside the quest pack are more important than the cover, players took note of this information and purchased it accordingly. After this error was discovered by Epic Games, they released an official tweet addressing the issue. Shortly after, another tweet was posted, stating that it had been fixed.

Even so, within that brief time period, several thousand Fortnite users had already purchased the pack with the intent of earning 1,500 V-Bucks. Given that this was Epic Games' fault for mislabeling and providing incorrect information, they decided to compensate the affected players.

Those who purchased the quest pack prior to the information being corrected in the Item Shop are eligible to receive the 500 V-Bucks. As of today (October 28), players have already started receiving their compensation in-game. Those who had purchased the Saint Academy Quest Pack before the error was fixed will get 500 V-Bucks, no questions asked.

For those who have not received compensation yet, it's best to wait at least a day before contacting the Epic Games support team. That said, one can also double check the time of purchase to ensure that the quest pack was bought before the fix was implemented.

Only those players who purchased it on October 24 before the in-game information was corrected are eligible. That being said, purchasing the pack now will only yield 1,000 V-Bucks in total.

As per the information, the Saint Academy Quest Pack is up for grabs until November 21, 2022. It contains the Vivica Saint skin, which is a special cosmetic outfit for Fortnitemares. Although some find it rather ordinary, a large portion of the playerbase adores it.
