Having a piece of Fortnite's in-game history is always a game-changer. When Tilted Towers was re-introduced in Chapter 3, the community went bonkers. By the looks of it, something similar will happen at the start of Chapter 4 Season 2.

According to leakers, Lucky Landing, or at least some version of it, will be added to the map next season. While there's speculation that this POI will arrive via the Rift Gate, it may also just be buried underneath the snow/ice and will thaw out over time.

If one Japanese-themed POI isn't enough to get the blood pumping, a second most definitely will. That being said, leakers have also confirmed another POI being called something along the lines of Neo-Tokyo or simply, Tokyo POI. Here's everything there is to know about them.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is about to get 'Lucky'

Lucky Landing hasn't been seen in-game since the end of Chapter 1. Although this POI was added in to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Epic Games decided to let it stay until the Black Hole consumed the island.

Given its 'OG' status, having this POI back in the game will not only be good for morale but will help hype things up even more. That being said, based on Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 leaks, the Lucky Landing being added in will be different from the original one.

More than likely, given that the game is now running on Unreal Engine 5.1, newer assets will be used to create the POI. Additionally, some design changes have definitely been made to make it look new and better adjusted to the Japanese-theme.

A good visualization of this would be how Tilted Towers became Neo Tilted. The design will likely implement a Japanese vibe while maintaining the futuristic aspect of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Moving on to the second POI, which is being called Neo-Tokyo or the Tokyo POI, it will likely feature tall buildings and structures similar to that of Neo Tilted. Again, keep in mind that although it has a similar layout, the vibe will focus on Japanese aesthetics.

This will make it stand out from the rest of the POIs that will be present on the island. On the downside of things, this will also be one of the most 'sweaty' POIs on the island. The same goes for Lucky Landing. On the bright side, this will leave the other POIs untouched during the early game for a few days.

Will the entire Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 map be Japanese-themed?

No, while the map will have Japanese influence and assets to spruce up the theme, the entire map will not be Japanese-themed. Epic Games ensures to leave small portions of the map untouched or slightly different themes to add flavor to the landscape.

While having a futuristic Japanese map would sound like a lot of fun, having everything become futuristic will become boring pretty soon. For this season, only certain POIs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will be immersed in the seasonal theme/vibe, while others will just be casual in nature.

That said, it will truly be interesting to see what Epic Games has in store. The very thought of having different elements blend seamlessly onto a giant map is alluring, to say the least.
