The Dial-A-Drop was added to Fortnite after update v22.30 went live. Unlike the humble supply drop, which provides basic provisions, this item allows players to select what type of supplies they want to call in.

Although it's a useful item, not everyone has been able to use it in-game or find utility in using it. To coax players into trying out the Dial-A-Drop, Epic Games is offering 20,000 experience points as a reward for calling in a vehicle using the item.

A step-by-step guide on how to use a Dial-A-Drop to call in a vehicle in Fortnite

1) Land at a named location or landmark that has a high concentration of chests

The first step towards completing this challenge will be landing at named locations or landmarks that have a high concentration of chests. Although Tainted Towers is probably the best option, there will be far too many opponents to deal with.

That said, an alternative location would be Synapse Station. Although opponents do land here, the numbers are miniscule when compared to Tainted Towers. Furthermore, landing at this location will have a tactical advantage.

2) Once the Dial-A-Drop has been acquired, look for a clearing

After rummaging through chests and acquiring the item or being blessed by the loot god and finding it on the floor, the next step is to look for a clearing. The last thing you need is to have your vehicle land on top of a building.

With this in mind, you can look for empty spaces east or west of Synapse Station. Once an appropriate location has been sighted, the next phase of the challenge can commence.

3) Select the Dial-A-Drop and choose the "Vehicle Drop" option

Select the Dial-A-Drop from the inventory and choose the option that's on the far right of the screen. Ensure not to mess this up as each Dial-A-Drop only has one use. Once used, the item will be consumed.

Once the option has been selected, your character will toss the Dial-A-Drop onto the ground, and a blue marker will appear confirming the drop location. After this occurs, the challenge will be completed and 20,000 XP will be rewarded.

4) Wait for the vehicle to drop and use it rotate to the next safe zone

Taking into account that you will be located at Synapse Station while undertaking the challenge, you'll have to rotate quite a bit to reach the next safe zone. Rather than walking or running, it's best to wait for the vehicle to drop and use it to rotate.

Although it's not the best vehicle in Fortnite, given that it comes with a Cow Catcher attached to the front, it's useful for ramming through builds and steamrolling players.
