Fortnite has introduced a bevy of skins in Chapter 4 so far. The Battle Pass has been full of excellent choices and a few Item Shop offerings have become instant classics. It's been a good season for a lot of reasons and that doesn't change with the cosmetics.

Not all of them have landed, though, and there are plenty of skins from Chapter 4 that can be classified as duds. This could be because fans just didn't like them, because the design was bad, or because they were bland and boring.

Here are a few examples of the cosmetics that Epic Games have absolutely nailed and others that they will likely want to try again with.

Top 3 Fortnite skins that are incredible

3) Nezumi

Nezumi is an original skin in the anime fashion. They are usually popular because of the cell shading that they have, and this one is no different. The design is excellent and there's really no downside to purchasing it. This Battle Pass-exclusive is one of the biggest reasons that players purchased the subscription at all.

2) Geralt of Rivia

Geralt of Rivia, one of this season's many collaborative skins, is fantastic. The Witcher's main character has an awesome design, amazing backstory, and a ton of good cosmetics.

When Chapter 4 was announced, one of the biggest things the community took note of was that Geralt of Rivia was coming to the metaverse. That alone is worth the price of the Battle Pass.

1) Doom Slayer

Arguably the best skin from this entire season, Doom Slayer is more than worth its price tag. The gaming icon is a fan-favorite already. Many Battle Pass outfits don't get used much after the season they're featured in ends, but this one has great staying power. As such, players can expect it to stick around for a long time and make others regret not unlocking it.

3) Hulk

For Marvel skins, which are usually really good, this one just doesn't hit the mark. It has a simple design and is not a bad representation of the character, but it's just not that enticing.

Despite the fact that the hitbox is the same, bigger outfits are usually less popular since they're easier to see, and the Hulk is no different. The green color doesn't help that, either.

This Fortnite Chapter 4 skin doesn't come with much that players love. Even for Marvel's cosmetics, this is one you can probably skip.

2) Katsuki Bakugo

This My Hero Academia crossover has the unfortunate distinction of being one of the worst. It pales in comparison to the other MHA skins, which is why it's not worth the time. There are anime fans who love Katsuki, but most others are going to want to play as All Might, Izuku Midoriya, or others.

It's not a bad Fortnite skin and it doesn't have any major flaws. If it was the only MHA outfit available, it would be worth it. It's not, though, and that's probably the biggest downside.

1) Rift Warden Stellan

This Item Shop skin just didn't hit the mark. Many original cosmetics are good, but this one isn't. The design is boring, the skin itself doesn't have anything to offer players, and there's really no reason to bother buying it. The alternate styles are definitely better, but not enough to warrant the purchase.
