Tony Adams has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta overuses Bukayo Saka and the Englishman doesn't get enough rest.

Arteta, since taking over at the Emirates, has done a phenomenal job of establishing the Gunners as a title contender. Adams, however, has pointed out what he thinks is a flaw of the Spaniard.

Adams thinks Saka is often overused by Arteta. Reflecting his take, Adams said (via The Boot Room):

"Last year he was phenomenal. Don't forget, if I have one criticism on Arteta he plays him every single game. He doesn't give him any rest whatsoever. Maybe he doesn't trust what's coming through underneath him. If he was like Grealish or playing for Man City, Saka would be right up there."

Saka has once again been a busy player for Arsenal this season. He has made 47 appearances across competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists. Saka suffered an injury in the Gunners' previous Premier League game against Manchester United. The 22-year-old, though, is expected to be fit to face Everton on Sunday, May 19.

Arsenal legend David Seaman criticizes one Bukayo Saka trait

David Seaman has criticized Arsenal star Bukayo Saka's antics when he gets fouled. Seaman thinks Saka shouldn't always start waving and signaling to the bench when he gets taken down.

The former goalkeeper said (via SportBIBLE):

"It's not just Saka, I have seen a lot of other players doing it as well now. That was always the signal that you're really hurt so that they can get ready really quickly to get on as soon as the ref signals to them."

Seaman further added that many players are reacting like this at the moment. He also noted that the players don't even receive treatment and carry on with the game at times.

In Saka's defense, though, he is the fourth-most fouled player in the Premier League this season. Saka has been on the receiving end of 68 fouls this term.
