Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said that Alejandro Garnacho has apologized for his social media activity after the club's 2-2 draw at Bournemouth. The talented Argentine was in trouble with his manager for liking posts that questioned the Dutchman's decision-making following his substitution.

The club reported that the incident was being handled internally and it looked like the Argentine starlet could be in trouble for his online activity. However, all seems well now following the manager's confirmation that an apology has been offered by the youngster.

Speaking at his Friday press conference, the Manchester United boss told ESPN when quizzed on the matter:

"Alejandro is a young player and has to learn a lot. He apologised for it and after that we move on."

The Red Devils star now looks set to feature on the wings for his side against Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday.

This is not the first time a player and Ten Hag have disagreed over social media activity this season. Jadon Sancho also had a flare-up with the Dutchman earlier i the campaign, resulting in him being loaned to Borussia Dortmund until the summer.

However, Garnacho has quickly put the disagreement behind him and made amends with his coach so he can help end the season well.

Embattled Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has said that he understands the fans' frustrations with the club. The Red Devils have endured another poor season and look set to match their worst-ever Premier League finish with six games to go.

Speaking at his Friday press conference, the Dutchman revealed that he understood the frustration felt by the supporters, telling Manchester Evening News:

"Yes, of course we want to win every game so when we don't win we are disappointed. We are frustrated but we know also we can beat the best teams. We drew twice against Liverpool, we beat them in the FA Cup, we played very good against Chelsea.
"When we play to our levels we can achieve really high highs. Last season was last season. We want to achieve every season, we want to win trophies, we have a big opportunity. We are in a semi-final but it's a huge challenge."

Manchester United will try to give the fans something to smile about when they head to Wembley. There they face Championship side Coventry and will look to reach a second consecutive FA Cup final. Manchester City and Chelsea face off in the other semi-final on Saturday.
