Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City? Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav predicts winner of the Premier League this season

Indian Cricketer Kuldeep Yadav has predicted Arsenal to win the Premier League this season.

The league has seen an enthralling three-horse race, with the current leaders, the Gunners narrowly ahead. The Indian cricketer however believes the north London side will come out on top and said so in an interview with Premier League India.

Yadav said in his interview:

"I really want Arsenal to win the Premier League, City can catch them easily because City's fixtures when you compare to Arsenal, it's not that tough. Obviously, City is now out of the Champions League so their whole focus will be on the Premier League. But I feel Arsenal should win"

The Gunners currently sit top of the table, one point ahead of Manchester City who have a game in hand. Liverpool, meanwhile, are a further two points behind City, having played one more game than them.

The north Londoners will have to navigate a derby against Tottenham Hotspur away in their next game on Sunday, April 28. Mikel Arteta will be aware that his side will have to be perfect for the remainder of the season if they are to dethrone City.

Manchester City, meanwhile, next visit Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. They will know they have to secure a victory if they intend to keep pace with the Gunners. Yadav and the Arsenal faithful will hope they stumble in the game and help the north London side claim their first League title in 20 years.

Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Arteta believes Havertz always had the ability he has shown in Premier League

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed that he isn't surprised by Kai Havertz's impressive form for the club. The German forward joined the Gunners last summer from Chelsea and has been transformational in how Arteta's side controls games. He has registered 12 goals and five assists in 47 games across competitions.

The Spaniard said he doesn't believe he unlocked anything in Havertz but felt he was recruited by the proper system, saying via Football.London:

"It's never my decision, it's our decision. We made the decision super aligned with the club's vision. On the sporting side, Edu and I make our recommendation. There are a lot of very important people and at the end you need the ownership to back you and make things happen.
"We were very convinced that they were characters first and players to fit in our model for the club. Sometimes it takes a bit of time. It's inevitable that you are going to make mistakes and you have to generate the environment and the reason that the players need to fulfil their potential."

The Gunners will hope that they can celebrate a Premier League crown with their German star at the end of the season. Mikel Arteta next faces Tottenham Hotspur in the league and will hope they can beat them and maintain their place at the top of the division.
