FIFA 17 official ratings for Atletico Madrid

Diego Simeone’s brave men won the La Liga title in 2013 and have been contesting fiercely for the title ever since. They have been qualifying for the Champions League and have reached the Finals on two occasions, only to be beaten by Real Madrid both times.

In the previous season, Atletico Madrid finished with 88 points and had been only 4 points behind winners Barcelona as their players gave spirited performances.

The Official FIFA 17 game is set to be released on the 29th of September this year and here are the official ratings for a few of the Atletico Madrid players.

Lucas Hernandez (Overall 75):

Lucas Hernandez is a youngster who has shown great promise of excelling in the future. The 20-year-old centre-back has been rated 75 in FIFA 17 (from 66 in FIFA 16) and can only improve from here on.

The Frenchman has a potential growth up to 86 in the career mode in FIFA 17.

Oliver Torres (Overall 79):

The Spanish midfielder has been rated 79 (same as in FIFA 16) and has been loaned to FC Porto to get some more game time. The 21-year-old youngster can rise to 86 overall in career mode in FIFA 17 and can show his mettle in the Portuguese League.

Angel Correa (Overall 79):

The 21-year-old Argentine forward receives a rating of 79 in FIFA 17 with a promising future. Correa receives an upgrade from his FIFA 16 rating (77 Overall) after scoring 8 goals in the 2015/16 season (5 in La Liga, 2 in Copa del Rey, 1 in Champions League).

In the FIFA 17 career mode, Correa is expected to rise to an overall of 88 and is one of the best young talents.

Saul Niguez (Overall 80):

The Spanish central midfielder has been performing with great consistency under Diego Simeone which has earned him an overall of 80 in FIFA 17 (from 79 in FIFA 16). Niguez’s rating could rise to an overall of 88 in the career mode in the latest installment of FIFA.

Jose Gimenez (Overall 83):

The Atletico Madrid centre-back has been given an improved rating of 83 in FIFA 17 (from 78 in FIFA 16) after some good performances in the previous season. The 21-year-old has shown some great progress in his decision making and has been expected to rise to an overall of 88 in FIFA 17 career mode.

Jan Oblak (Overall 87):

Oblak had a brilliant 2015/16 season for Atletico and cemented his place in the time. Oblak receives a high rating of 87 in FIFA 17 (from 82 in FIFA 16) and is only 23 years of age. The Slovenian keeper has been given 90 for handling, 87 for positioning, 83 for diving, and 82 for reflexes.

Antoine Griezmann (Overall 88):

The 25-year-old French forward gained a lot of attention from clubs across Europe after a fantastic 2015/16 season. Griezmann has been rated an overall of 88 in FIFA 17 (from 82 in FIFA 16) after scoring 22 goals in the previous season and receives 87 for dribbling, 86 for pace, 85 for shooting, and 78 for passing.

He also had a wonderful EURO 2016 scoring 6 goals and was awarded the tournament’s best player.

Diego Godin (Overall 88):

The Uruguayan centre-back has been solid for Atletico in defence and receives an overall of 88 in FIFA 17 (from 85 in FIFA 16). The 30-year-old centre-back receives 88 for his defending abilities, 79 for physicality, 65 for pace and passing.

Godin is expected to do well in the 2016/17 season as well.
