The Argentine international Sergio Aguero joined his fans for a live Q&A session on the official UEFA Champions League facebook page. The charismatic striker had a difficult start to his new 2015-16 season with scoring just a single goal in his 6 appearances for the 2014 Champions in the Premier League. However, the striker did not look to be troubled by his goal drought and was hopeful of the goals will come by soon.

He wrote his name into Manchester City folklore when he scored the last-minute goal against the relegation-threatened side Queens Park Rangers in the final game of the 2011-12 season to secure the Premier League title on goal difference. The 27-year old player summed up his Premier League winning goal in the 2011-12 season in three words as ‘Lo más hermoso’ which translates to ‘the most beautiful’ in English.

The ex-Atletico Madrid striker spent approximately full 5 seasons at the Spanish club before agreeing a move to the blue part of Manchester. At Madrid, he paired up with Diego Forlan to form one of the best forward pairings of the game with scoring more than a century of goals for the Madrid-based club. He named Sergio Ramos as the most difficult defender he had come up against at the time he was playing in the La Liga.

When asked to name the players who influenced his playing style, the Argentine forward named ‘Messi, the Brazilian Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Maradona’ as the best players to have played the game, but said that the player to whom he influenced his style of play the most was ‘the Brazilian Ronaldo’.

Mascherano best midfielder I have played alongside: Aguero

He went on to reach the final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup with his national side, however, he missed some group stage matches and only to come on as a substitute in the semi-final and the final against Germany.

Having played alongside the likes of Yaya Toure, Aguero named his national side team mate Javier Mascherano as the best midfielder he had played with in his footballing career stressing on the fact that “Mascherano is a player who feels the pulse of a game – he knows the moment when it's going well or badly. He is a reference point for what you need on the pitch,” as UEFA reports.

When quizzed about his childhood hero outside football, the striker replied, “Michael Jordon.”

On answering to the best game he played in a Manchester City shirt, he said, “I always enjoy playing against United. My best performance? That's difficult, but a recent one would be against Bayern where I scored the hat-trick.”

The Manchester City forward will next feature in the Premier League clash against Tottenham on 26th September 2015.

Aguero names his top four players of all time...Messi, Ronaldo Nazário de Lima, Ronaldinho, Maradona.
