Seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton has ventured into a new realm with the launch of his latest business endeavor, Almave. This beverage mirrors the essence of tequila but with an intriguing twist – it's entirely non-alcoholic.

Sourced from the heart of tequila-making, the blue agave fields of Jalisco, Mexico, Almave stands out as a unique product in the world of nonalcoholic spirits.

The result of a collaborative effort between F1 icon Lewis Hamilton, Iván Saldaña and Casa Lumbre, the brand asserts that it is the sole non-alcoholic offering to employ this revered ingredient.

What sets Almave apart is its commitment to preserving the time-honored traditions of tequila production, while providing a fresh, alcohol-free experience.

While the process mirrors that of crafting tequila, it uniquely bypasses the fermentation stage, where the liquid would typically transform into alcohol. In its lineup, Almave presents two distinct offerings tailored to various preferences, Almave Ámbar and Almave Blanco.

Almave Ámbar is designed to savor each note. This option promises to deliver an experience that rivals the tequilas, sans the alcohol. Almave Blanco takes on a versatile role, tailor-made for mixing, allowing enthusiasts to craft several non-alcoholic cocktails that carry the essence of tequila.

In terms of accessibility, Almave Ámbar is set to retail at $38.99 for a 700ml bottle, and $36.99 for Almave Blanco. These prices ensure that the allure of this nonalcoholic spirit is not confined to a select few, but made available to a wider audience.

The company's expansion plans are poised to tap into both the U.S. market and select international territories. The target launch date for this venture is set for 2024.

Lewis Hamilton hypes up Almave release, shares reasoning behind the launch

Lewis Hamilton, in a statement to WWD, shared his personal connection with tequila and the inspiration behind Almave. He expressed:

"I’ve always loved tequila for its taste, but there are times when I don’t want the alcohol part of the deal and I know that there is a growing group of people who want the same."

The Mercedes driver continued:

“With Almave, we’re all about offering a high-quality option that doesn’t compromise on the craft and flavors of tequila and provides a truly authentic nonalcoholic blue agave experience."

With Almave, Lewis Hamilton has intelligently tapped into a burgeoning demand for sophisticated non-alcoholic alternatives.

As the beverage arrives in 2024, it's safe to say that Almave could set a new standard for what non-alcoholic beverages can achieve.
