Bangladesh group hacks Kohli's website, WI star to miss the first Test and more - Cricket News Today, 2 October 2018

England v India: Specsavers 5th Test - Day Five
The Indian skipper is back!

Ahead of the first Test between India and West Indies, the players are sweating it out hard at the Saurashtra Cricket Association ground in Rajkot. The Indian team was in full attendance as the players, including skipper Virat Kohli turned up for the practice session.

Opening batsman Mayank Agarwal had his first training session with the Indian team and was looking good in the nets. Apart from this, a lot of other things happened in the world of cricket in the last 24 hours.

Let us take a look at some of them.

Bangladeshi group hacks Virat Kohli's site

After the final of the Asia Cup 2018 between India and Bangladesh, a Bangladeshi hacking group, Cyber Security and Intelligence (CSI), hacked Indian captain Virat Kohli's official website and has put pictures to protest against 'unfair decision by the umpire in the Asia Cup finals', Dhaka Tribune reported.

The Bangladesh fans were not happy with the third umpire's decision after Liton Das was stumped by MS Dhoni for 121. The hacker group hacked Kohli's website and questioned the ICC, the Indian cricket team and even asked whether the Men in Blue were 'playing the gentleman's game or not'.

The hacker group shared a post on their Facebook page, which read, “we knew cricket is a gentleman’s game. However, every time Bangladesh faces injustice and to prevent it we are hacking into Virat Kohli’s official site.”

The gallery section of the site had the following images added by the group.

Ajinkya Rahane on Prithvi Shaw

England Lions v India A - Day Two
Prithvi Shaw

Indian vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has said that Prithvi Shaw should not curb his attacking instincts if he gets a chance to make his India debut. Speaking to the press ahead of the first Test against West Indies, which will get underway on October 4 in Rajkot, Rahane did not commit to India's possible opening combination for the game, something that everyone is very eager to know.

"I am happy for Shaw. I have seen him since his young days, we used to practice together, he is an attacking opener and done well for India A and got the reward. Personally, we don't know the combination what we are going to play. But there is no pressure, it is an opportunity for every individual to express ourselves. I wish him good luck and I am sure he will do well. I just want him to play as he has been doing for Mumbai and India A and I think he will be fine," he said.

Kemar Roach to miss the first Test

Barbados Tridents v Jamaica Tallawahs - 2018 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Tournament
No Kemar Roach for the first Test

West Indies are forced to deal with a big blow as their fast bowler Kemar Roach has been ruled out of the first Test as he flew back home to Barbados last week following the death of his grandmother and is expected to join the squad during the Test match. He also missed the warm-up game against Board President's XI because of the same.

"Unfortunately Kemar is not back in the country yet, he's had a bereavement in the family, unfortunately he's had to go home in Barbados. He will be rejoining the squad halfway through the Test match, he should be back in the country and ready to go for the second Test. Kemar Roach is very experienced, has great skills and is one of our leaders in the group, he's a big loss. Missing Kemar is a big hole," West Indies coach Stuart Law confirmed.
