MLB launches exclusive ballpark food delivery menu

The major leagues have been avidly discussing and deploying various changes in the league to keep fans engaged and the game of baseball interesting.

From adding pitch clocks to introducing new jerseys this season, the MLB has been changing its thinking approach to attract a wide fan base and keep the ballgame engaging.

Now the MLB has launched an exclusive ballpark food delivery menu in select locations, which will give the fans of the game a taste of ballpark menu items while sitting at home.

The menu involves a starting lineup of eight sandwiches, the sides with french fries, combos involving a soda, a sandwich, a side of fries, and finally the closer, a dessert item.

Take a look at the official post on X, formerly Twitter, here:

Fans had an interesting take on this announcement, with many voicing their opinions online. Some fans pointed out the occasional boring gamedays during the regular season, while others lashed out at the expensive food items in the concession stand.

Here's a look at some of the comments on X:

"I’ll pay less money at the concessions to see mediocre baseball. Middle class people can’t afford tickets AND food at the ballpark. MLB, congratulations, you’ve priced yourself for the average baseball fan," one fan commented.

Other fans welcomed the decision by MLB to start with an exclusive ballpark food delivery menu called the Ballpark Bites via MLB.com.

More comments soon followed:

"Sounds like a great idea," one fan commented.
"I’ve tried it already and it’s actually really good tbh," another fan commented.
"Genius idea," commented yet another fan.
