Rituparna Routh holds an Integrated BA B.Ed. degree with honors in English. She started following pro wrestling while still in college as a source of entertainment but soon figured out how to make a career out of it as a pro wrestling writer. She initially joined Sportskeeda as an intern and eventually became a full-fledged writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling.

Besides writing about pro wrestling, Rituparna is a teacher at Klorofeel School, Brahmapur, Odisha. She has also written and published poems in several anthologies and other publications.

Rituparna looks up to WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, and Naomi because they are the embodiment of hard work, dedication, and motivation. An Attitude Era wrestler she admires for his incredible personality and extraordinary in-ring abilities is 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. She would have loved to have managed him if only to accompany him through his journey in the company.

When not writing about or watching pro wrestling, Rituparna likes to indulge in singing, writing poems, and cooking.
