AEW CEO Tony Khan may be gearing up to make his in-ring debut according to WWE veteran Al Snow. Khan has made it clear in the past many times that he has no interest in being an onscreen figure for the company.

A couple of weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan reinstated the controversial Jack Perry to All Elite Wrestling. Jack Perry would go on to shock the fans by punching Khan in the stomach right after hugging the CEO. The Young Bucks would come out to further cement their dominance as they took Khan out with a brutal TK driver to end the show. Many veterans and fans have stated that the ambush on Khan was to set up his potential in-ring debut for the company.

Speaking with Vince Russo on The Brand podcast, the former Hardcore Champion predicted that Tony's in-ring debut has already been booked. He said that Khan might compete in a six or eight-man tag team match or get to finish the match by hitting the final move.

"I think it's already booked. I think without a question or a doubt, that's what the whole angle was set up for was to get Tony [Khan] into the ring in the match. I believe that it will be some kind of six or eight-man deal or at the very least, he would get to run in and deliver the final blow of the match and cause the finish." [5:13 -5:48]

Vince Russo believes Tony Khan wants to sign Goldberg to AEW

AEW CEO Tony Khan has signed many former WWE stars and veterans over the years to the Jacksonville-based promotion. Many veterans, including Vince Russo, believe Goldberg would've signed with AEW after his contract with the WWE expired in 2022.

However, the former Universal Champion has stated in the past that AEW is too cheesy for him. Speaking on his Vince Russo The Brand podcast, the former writer assumed that Tony Khan would likely have wanted to sign Goldberg to the company. The veteran also addressed Goldberg's comment about All Elite Wrestling.

"We know from Tony's track record that he hires everybody. If he's gonna hire Rebecca De Mone; he's clearly gonna hire Bill Goldberg. So, I would assume it was Goldberg's decision not to go work there. I think Goldberg very, very easily could have got a deal there if he wanted to go there. But it sounds to be like all the conversations he had with Tony Khan made him feel like the company was very cheesy, otherwise, he'd be working there," he said. [From 3:07 - 3:51]

Goldberg's return to the WWE may not happen anytime soon. However, the veteran has a huge chance to shake things up and show up at the Jacksonville-based promotion.
