Music transcends everything, and so does pro wrestling. Anne-Marie, who's one of Britain's biggest breakthrough artists, recently paid tribute to WWE Hall of Famer and AEW star Sting.

The Icon has become the talk of the wrestling town lately in the wake of his retirement announcement. The 64-year-old stalwart will ride off into the sunset at AEW Revolution 2024, which will mark the fourth anniversary of his in-ring debut.

The WCW veteran has been in the wrestling business for over three decades and has captivated millions of fans across the globe. As such, Anne-Marie recently took to her social media handle to share a photo of herself wearing a creepy-looking facepaint on the occasion of Halloween month.

Interestingly, she also posted a photo of Sting, who's renowned for his face paint gimmick.

Booker T isn't too optimistic about Sting retiring from AEW

Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T recently reacted to the news of The Icon's impending retirement and tipped The Icon not to walk away from the business completely.

Here's what the WWE legend had to say:

"I'm gonna tell you right now. He might not want to retire. He might want to just say man, I'm just, you know, I ain't gonna say I'm ever going to retire. I might just want to go walk away and leave the business, but retire? I wouldn't say that because I'm gonna tell you right now, sitting at home, becoming an old man, receding. It can get lonely... Don't retire. Don't quit. Don't ever quit. That's what wrestlers do. That's just, that's me. That's my opinion on it. I wouldn't retire if I was you Sting. I would stay in the ring forever. Take bumps. Fly off of stuff [he laughs]."

There's no word on who will be The Vigilante's last hurrah, but ex-WWE writer Vince Russo recently predicted that Ric Flair could jump ship to AEW to face his frenemy.
